Hi @legalfalcon
My Aor is 30/03/2017, file at ndvo and almost been three months absolutely no communication from ircc since aor.
I had requested gcms for the third time after knowing the file is at ndvo. Ie a month post transfer to ndvo. The notes are delayed and don't know when I will get them.
My question here is do you see a trend in delayed notes if the file is not worked upon or is stuck at local visa office.?
Who is responsible for generating notes if the file is at ndvo.
My mails to ndvo are unanswered and cse raised didn't help much.

What should I do to expedite processing.?
Most notes are delayed due to administrative issues or the files being worked on by external agencies like CBSA. When a request for GCMS notes is made, the agency processing the file has to clear it before it can be released. The office where the file is, is responsible to review and clear the notes. If you have difficulty in obtaining the GCMS notes, you can contact GET GCMS, and they can file complaints, which will expedite the process.

Hi, legalfalcon! Thanks for being present in this era! I am curious of what happens if I leave my LMIA supported job a few weeks after the eAPR of my CEC EE. Let’s say my ITA was possible because of LMIA’s extra 50points. Ive heard that my account should be lovked up after AOR. But loosing a LMIA right after AOR job sounds like a risk move to me. Will my points be taken away and my application withdrawn?

Best,
The application is locked as soon as it is filed, so your status on the day you filed the application is what will be looked into, not what it is today or the day after the application was filed. So you can definitely leave your job, however, you will have to inform IRCC via CSE so that they are aware of it and in case want to verify your employment, they know that you know longer work there.

Hi,

I asked information about my file and got the reply below! Is this means I am in security screening?

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.
This is a standard reply and does not mean that your application is under SS. To know if your application is actually under SS, you will need GCMS notes.

Hi Legal,
I got the Procedural Fairness letter few days ago. They are asking me to provide any additional information/documentation. When I clicked on "ViewMySubmitted" documents, they allowed me to upload "Proof Of Income" , "Proof Of Fund" and "LOE".

Now my question is, For howmany month's Paystub should I upload ? I have an experience in one company from Sep 2014 to May 2016. I also have another 3 months experience in another company. So Total 24 months of experience. I have all the Paystubs with me but the problem is the "Uploading File Size Limit" . So is it ok if I submit first 12 months paystubs for ABC company and 3 months Paystub for XYZ company ????????
You can upload the pay stubs of the first three months and the last 6 months of the company you worked for. Also you can explain in the LoE that you have all the pay stubs, but due to the size limitation you cannot upload all, but if needed, you are willing to provide them.

Hey I posted this in another thread but I would like your advice:

I just received a medical request for my wife to complete on 1017 form. When I checked my profile, there is a section for supporting documents for her but no upload button or new row to add any documents, which i found strange. What should I do in order to add this document to my file?

Usually this is a technical issue. Try clearing your browser cache and reloading in the page. Also wait for 24 hours and check. If the issue persists, then you can send the document via CSE.

Hi there,
A rather general question, if the admissibility criteria change after one's ITA, can they still impact their application?

Hi @legalfalcon,
As always thank you very much for all your help, its greatly appreciated.

I have recently gotten the request for my passport, however on the e-mail they only gave the Canadian address or US and as a side note they mention to e-mail them if you need a change of visa office. I emailed them 2 days ago with this as a title "Mailing Address outside Canada(Ready for Visa CPCO) - CEC PR Applicant my number - my name" as well as all my information enclosed in the email (UCI, name, current country of residence, type of application etc). The only thing i noticed I missed was the birth date. I don't know if I should e-mail again with the same information but in addition put the birth date. The automatic email I got after sending the local visa change mentioned the birth date but i'm not sure if it applies to my case as well?
Also, for a local visa office change do they really take 20 days? Just wondering since I got 30 days to submit passport and I worry about that.

Any advice is greatly appreciated :).
Happy Holidays
Send them another email with all the required information, including the date of birth. IRCC takes 1-3 weeks to change the visa office. However, when the visa office is changed, you will get another 30 days to submit your passport.

Hello legalfalcon ,
This is my first message on this forum, and I sure that you help me with this:
My application is stucked in IP1 since December, 18. Here is the whole situation
1-Application sent December, 5
2-Medical passed December, 18
3-Background status changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check" in December,18

In December, 19 I found out that I only submitted certified copies + Translation+the translator's affidavit, I went and raised a CSE, explained the situation and uploaded the scanned copies of the originals. I even called CIC call center right away, and the operator told me that she would put a note on my file to the officer that way he would notice that I have uploaded the original copies just to avoid any rejection in completeness check phase (R10).

Since then my Background status is still showing "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check"
My friend passed medical, completeness check and criminality in one day (December 22), and he is now in NA2.

In your opinion, is there anything to worry about at this time ?, and if so, what could be the reason lying behind this.
I have read in some threads that some candidates have the same situation until they got passport request.

Here is my application details for your reference:
Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Thank you legalfalcon for your time and help.
Regards,
First off, there is no stage as NA, IP1 or IP2. All EE applications go through the following stages:

R10
Criminality
Medicals
Eligibility
Security.

Further, each application is different and you cannot compare two applications. Just because one application is processed faster, does not mean that there is anything wrong with your application.

As regards sending the originals later. It is a tricky issue as the R10, which is regulation 10 clearly states that it is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the application is complete and all documents uploaded in the required format. Given that you send the originals later, most officers will take it on record and will not make an issue, but it is a wait and watch thing.

To know what is happening and if your documents have even been added to the file, either you can request GCMS notes and see or you can wait it out.

Hi Legalfalcon,

Yes, i am claiming 15 points for 10 years work experience for that i have provided the reference letter and my employer confirm the employment while inquired by the Nova Scotia nominee officer including the proof of pay slips and bank statement matching with bank payments.
You need to elaborate your question and specify if it is for EE or the NS PnP application.

Dear @legalfalcon I have submitted a letter of explanation for not being able to get a police certificate from UAE as I was on visit visa. I wanted to know from your vast experience, do you know of any EE applications that were approved without providing one police clearance certificate by the principal applicant? I am just worried about my application. Thanks for your help!
If you lived in UAE for less than 6 months you do not need a PCC from UAE. Further, if you have provided a LoE it will be taken into consideration and based on the current procedural requirements you may be granted exemption.

When an applicant is unable to get a PCC, and explains it in LoE it is taken into consideration. If IRCC still needs the PCC, they will ask for it and give you adequate time.

Until the divorce decree is issued, the applicant's legal status is married. Once the divorce is finalized, the profile can be changed. If she states her status as married or legally separated, she will need to provide the Passport and medicals of her spouse post ITA even if the spouse is non-accompanying.

Only when the divorce is finalized, or the proof of the filing of divorce request in the court is provided, the applicant will be exempt from the medicals and passport requirement.

hi legalfalcon
I want to know your advice if I should raise a complaint with IRCC regarding the delays in processing my application. Apologies for a long message. I'm first giving you a complete background of my application and at the end is my question if I should raise a complaint.

We are a family of 2+1 with 3 PCCs each for India, Dubai and Qatar.
We faced delays with obtaining home country (India) PCC for my spouse. We went ahead and applied with a LOE and receipt of the Indian PCC application. Application timeline is as follows

FSWO
AOR - 9 Jun
Meds Passed / IP1- 8 Jul
ADR Indian PCC - 10 Jul
ADR submitted - 2 Aug
FTD to London - 22 Aug
IP2 - 31 Oct
ADR
Dubai & Qatar PCC for spouse - 21 Nov

I got two set of notes
First set was before ip2
CIO didn't do our criminality even though we submitted pending PCC 20 days prior to File transfer.

Second set was after ip2
On 31st October , the day of ip2
The eligibility was passed and the officer left a note to the program assistant asking to check personal history and to request for Dubai and Qatar PCC for Spouse as it was not in correspondence.

Now I don't understand how can files uploaded electronically be not in correspondence? I had uploaded them and if they were not in correspondence then clearly it was due to an internal problem.

I got the ADR on 21 Nov, 21 days were taken just to request the document.

Before I got the notes and after getting the ADR, I emailed asking for a clarification if I need to upload existing PCCs or I need to obtain new ones. But I didn't get any response. I looked up online on CIC website and as per their specifications for PCC I noticed that my existing PCC were valid. So I wrote a LOE with reference to their website guidelines anduploaded existing PCCs.

There was no response at all. I went ahead and obtained a new PCC for Dubai as it is very easy but getting a new PCC for Qatar is challenging due to the current diplomatic problems between UAE and Qatar. I raised a CSE with new Dubai PCC and requested exemption from obtaining a new Qatar PCC if it may be needed. We lived in Qatar 2013-2015 and PCC was obtained in May 2017 but t comes with a 6 months validity.

I completed 6 months on the 9th December. My application is still having no progress. Should I wait some more or should I complaint to IRCC and also point out how can documents uploaded by me not be in correspondence which has caused all this delay?

Kindly advice

Thanks for your time and patience
