SW1 Visa Work Conditions

I have SW1 Visa. I want to know, am I eligible to work before the start of program? If yes then how much before?

No - you're not eligible to work before the start of your program. Doing so is illegal. You must wait until your program starts to begin working. Once your classes start, you'll be able to work up to 20 hours per week off campus.

Hello, you probably have co-op term in your program so that’s you got sw-1 category visa instead of s-1 .

In co-op you are allowed to work(paid/unpaid) for course credits. It may be compulsory or optional based on your college

The category on your visa means NOTHING in terms of what you can do in Canada. You can work as per the terms of your study permit, no different than any other student.

The visa has nothing to so with it. Whether you can work depends on the conditions on your study permit.
