If it makes you feel any better, I haven't received any communications from them since May when they told me I could link my account to my online application...I went ahead and sent everything, but they haven't processed anything. I thought over 8 months into this process I would be a bit further along...

You shouldn't! At least you got an email on october 20th! That's a good signal!!!
Some people get their BGC updated just before DM.
It doesn't really have to stay in process for months ...

We have heard nothing from them since June medical was passed. Though we received response to our email this month stating application is in queue. And nothing has changed on our account since June.

But we are very hopeful we would hear sth soon as my VO are currently on February applications since beginning of this month.
