There was a ministerial instruction that stated something like, "The officer is supposed to give higher consideration to Supervisa applicants with an approved or accepted PGP application already in process". This was issued few years back.

There was another instruction that also said that the condition of the country (political and economical) should not affect the the consideration of the officer reviewing Supervisa application.

Can anyone link me to both please?

It's an online web form. The same won't work for 2018 since the process hasn't been announced yet.

I am from 2nd round applicant. CPC received my application package on 12 Nov/2017.

Today I got a letter from CIC in my mail box, indicating my name, DOB, UCI , currentAddress and reference number of my parent's Invitation code. by this letter, they are asking me for additional document of my address proof..!!

when draw was open, I entered my old address and I moved to new place after that. My application is showing my new address. They want me to prove that I'm the same person. This letter is showing date printed on 22 Nov/2017, and I got in my mail box on 1st Dec through canada post...!! They have given me 30 days to provide requested document, that I'm sending through speed post tomorrow.

They asked me to provide provincial or federal government issued address proof. I also changed my license and registry is not providing photocopy of my OLD license. All I have is last year's Notice of Assessment from CRA with my old address. And I'm thinking to provide "statuary declaration" from commissioner of oath to prove that I'm the same person who showed interest to sponsor my parents...!

Did anyone get letter like me? any suggestions to provide clarification ..??

Provide the old and new driver's license or any other government issued ID with both old and new copies. That should suffice.

Hi, I also have the same status "Your action is required", but nothing inside. Did you got it sorted out ? Do we have to do anything.?

That's normal. If anything is required, you will get an email/letter as well as a message under your CIC profile.

You called Canada Post instead of using the tracking number and they were able to tell you, or you had the tracking number when you called?

I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to have heard something from CIC or not. It sounds like there are two notifications, one when they receive your application in the mail and a second when they actually start working on it and assess whether it's complete - if that's the case, shouldn't either I or the sponsor have been told it was delivered by now? It was mailed on Nov 2. Or am I stressed for no reason?

You can either track by canada post or ecas. If you didn't have canada post tracking, try the link below. Note that you might not be able to locate your application up to 3 months after it was received by IRCC; that's the current average time. There'd been a few exceptions though where it started showing up faster.

Thanks. I called canada post and they said they deliverd a large number of mail at a time on nov 24 and my application was one of those. That's why i don't have individual scan.

Yes, you can use payment receipt.

Based upon average time, it's too early. It's taking up to 3 months before you can find it online.

I can track. I have tracking number. It says 'out for delivery' since Nov 24th. So, I called Canada post and got this response.

Tried all different possibilities, still can’t link. I guess I have to wait until they email me about the AOR and give me the application number.
