I am asking about the principal applicant's parents if they have been refused before does he need to declare that on the 5669 form...... not his accompany dependents
I guess you are refering to imm5669E question 4e. Now generally your parents information you supply is part of your personal details because you are not filling a separate one for them as they are not accompanying dependant probably. If scenario that is true, and assuming your parent were refused visaat some point, but you and all your dependats were never refused visa your answer is NO. We all know our parents are part of our family but for this case if they are not accompanying dependant, they do not belong under that family member clasiffication for this purpose in my opinion. I hope this helps

Praise God, it has come. After only 10 months. My husband received PPR along with re-medical request last night. Last Saturday (November 25) he received an invitation to pre-arrival services. Less than a week we got this! More than we expected.

We applied January 25, 2017, AVO "started processing" his application in March, heard nothing until last Saturday.

Neither his, nor my online accounts show any updates to reflect this. He did get one online message - his invitation to pre-arrival services. But the PPR was only sent by email with no status update to background check, medical, decision made, etc.

yes, I agree iwth @GisG2, it does not include your parents. it's about your spouse, their children (and their children's children if applicable)

I guess that's why it's delaying like this ... I submitted updated schedule a form in between and they requested for police certificate last week,so I'm waiting as well.My passport has been with AVO since on the 13th nov
we are in the same boat. Except in our case, we are waiting for them to tell us to send the passport to the country of residence. They have everything else since the 13th or 14th.

I have a question guys*****

On the schedule A questionnaire 6 E
have you, principal applicant, any your family members listed in your application for PR in Canada ever,

On question E ..aside from your principal applicant and or accompanying dependents do they also mean "family member" listed under additional family members ....

what if you don't know any of those family members of the principal applicant such as mother or father or sisters ever applied for visa and were refused?
what do you do in this case
and I want to know that question who does it pertain to specifically the principal applicant only and or dependent or does it include any family member listed in the entire application

Family members classified as:
An applicant’s closest relatives, in the context of an application to CIC. It is defined as a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children.
Father and mother doesn't count as family members in dis context. It is only spouse and children dat count
