IMM 5710 - Open work permit - Clarifications required.

Hi guys, I want to apply for Bridging Open Work Permit. i have a few question, which are as: If anyone has got the BOWP and aware about filling up the form, could you please let me know as well.

1. whether am eligible to apply for Bridging Open Work Permit or not?
Note: My online Canadian Experience Class PR Application status = Application Received. They received my application on 1st march. And I have a confirmation mail from Centralized Intake Office with my Applicaiton no. and acknowledge of fee payment of CEC.

2. As of now, am in Work Permit ( close work permit ) and working and my contract with company is going to expire on 31st July 2013 along with my work permit and visa. While filling the form IMM5710E (Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker)

a. What should i choose from below?
i. A work permit with the same emploer
ii. Restoration of temporary resident status as worker
iii. A work permit with a new employer
iv Initial Temporary Resident permit or extension of temporary resident permit.

b. Do i have to provide present Employer detail on "Details of Intended Work in Canada", as my contract is going

to expire on 31st July and applying for Open Work Permit.


3. Do my spouse to fill separate form. As of now, she is with me in Visitor?

Just wanna ask what are the requirements in applying for spousal open work permit inside canada? I came here in Canada last april 2013 under a low skill program. My husband just arrived here in Canada this Oct 2013 under high skilled program. we want to apply spousal open work permit since he is in a high skilled program. Can we start the application now even if he just arrived? Thank you.

I have a problem with imm 5710 form. I complete the form, validate and save it, but when I open the form again, it says it is not validated although the bar codes from the previous validation exist. I'm using Adobe Acrobat xi. Also, I want to know if the form requires adobe signatures? Please help me ASAP.

You should really start a new thread rather than bring up old ones

You can just rehit validation - as long as the bar codes are there it doesn't matter though
The digital signature is just typing in your name - nothing special required there

The same problem exist after rehitting validation. In fact, the form becomes validated but only as long as it is open. When I close and reopen it, again the same problem! Would this problem affect my application? Would it be possible that they reject it?

The same problem exist after rehitting validation. In fact, the form becomes validated but only as long as it is open. When I close and reopen it, again the same problem! Would this problem affect my application? Would it be possible that they reject it?

Did you save the document after validating it? If so, then it should save the barcode page and the validation result.

Make sure it says "Validated: Yes" on the printed document. If it says "No", then either the barcodes haven't been created yet, or the barcodes were created but are now useless. In any case you need to press "Validate" again.

I'm not sure if a form with "Validated: No" is necessarily rejected, but it means they can't use the barcode page and this would have to slow down your application. Not to mention if you haven't validated your form then you may have errors that have gone undetected.

Select "Initial work permit...".

Yes, still select it. You are not applying for Restoration.

Hello,
I have an open work permit and I'm living in Kingston with my wife and she's a valid work permit.
Mine is going to expire because of my passport expire date but I already have a new one and I'd like to extend my open work permit.
That being said, which option is the right one in section 3?
And I should pay the CDN$100 fee, right?
