My husband lives in Vancouver, We got engaged and registered the marriage by Jun 2016, these are my time lines,

Medical done Aug 2016
Application sent Aug 2016
Application received Sept 6, 2016
Sponsor approved Oct 2016
Forwarded to Colombo V/O Oct 2016
Additional documents requesred Jan 2017
Visited MP Aug 25, 2017
Remedical requested Oct10, 2017
Passport request Nov 16, 2017
Waiting for Visa stamp....

And all the 2016 applicants, don't worry your visa also on it's way, hopefully they will complete them by Dec 2017

Thx Anuthi . and all the best to you too.i hve a small question. my husbands medical expired in october24th. but gcms notes shows it passed also cic automated messages saying no need medical exams. so in your case you did remedical. before they requested remedical do you remember waht was the status of your mediccal

Our MP notes said "Upfront Medical done. Expired. Your wife should wait for new instructions to redo the test if necessary."
Even my gckey status changed like this, Medical passed-> expired -> no need to do medical ->after got remedial request, reviewing your medical results->medical passed till now.
The thing is after I got ppr, background check started, I think their update delayed.

Our MP notes said "Upfront Medical done. Expired. Your wife should wait for new instructions to redo the test if necessary."
Even my gckey status changed like this, Medical passed-> expired -> no need to do medical ->after got remedial request, reviewing your medical results->medical passed till now.
The thing is after I got ppr, background check started, I think their update delayed.

.i visited MP twice. both times "The medical examination results are on file and valid until October 24, 2017 for your constituent’s spouse."
i am pretty sure my husband need to do remedical.

I wish he gets soon, and one of my friend her timelines are same as me, we both did upfront medical on same day, it expired, but still not received remedial or updates from cic. She also waiting for the remedial request. Her MP said the same as yours one

Guys .. this is confusing... they requested the police clearance report on the month of July and have submitted already .. now they asked me for the Medicals which i did yesterday.. so still they’ve not completed the background check ? Like they requested the PCC early right ?
