really , that's 9 months so far and its still going on now right? I think in ur case maybe its because he lived in another country but my husband has always been in Afghanistan, I'm not sure why its taking so long apparently men's bgc especially from countries like Afghanistan take a long time, but I've also heard from friends/relatives that their husbands bgc only took a couple months so I'm not sure why there's such a difference.

Yeah unfortunately we r unlucky when it comes for BGC . There is a forum for whoever sponsoring from Afghanistan and couple people said their security check is in process and its been over a year. There r applicants from 2015 and 2016 still waiting. Even MP said they cant do anything bcs its security check and its important.

Finally got AOR2 as letter in my mailbox not as email... file is sent to ndvo....
Hoping for normal wait for BCIP....
I hope ndvo will awake soon...
All the best guyssss

Every other Visa Office is processing DM’s and PPR’s except NDVO for the past month! Has anyone ordered gcms notes lately or done a MP (Member of Parliament) inquiry?

Looking at the 2016 NDVO thread; NDVO is way behind this year! April Applicants were almost done by last November and NDVO had started May Applicants in December!

Hello everyone.
I am in the same boat and waiting to hear from NDVO.
Below is my application details:
AOR 1 :26th Sept
File transferred to NDVO: 27th Oct
AOR 2: 31st Oct.
How much time does NDVO take until the final decision is made?

I just want to scream and ask NDVO- what the hell are you doing??!!!?? why so slow?????????????

Mississauga received my application on May 30, 2017 and I got AOR on June 30, 2017, and a email to link my account; after that I have not received anything, no sponsor approval, no medical request; my ecas states in process for the sponsor side. Why is it taking so long for a sponsor approval and medical request?

My relative was reading an Indian newspaper and there was an interview from the Canadian immigration minister he said that they are asking dehi To clear the backlog as soon as possible. I can’t read Hindi or Punjabi so if anyone can try finding the interview that’d be great.
