Hi All,

I studied engineering in university from 2007 to 2011, but due to some backlogs I was only awarded my degree in 2014 and the same has been acknowledged by WES in their credential analysis.

In the education history section on my EE application, do I need to mention that I studied from 2007 to 2011 or 2007 to 2014? I am a little confused and would appreciate any guidance.

Thanks in advance!

Follow the dates on your degree certificate.

Follow the dates on your degree certificate.
Thank you for taking the time to reply.

My degree certificate only has the month that it was awarded on (June 2014), wouldn't it be odd for me to enter "2007 to 2014" in the education history for my bachelor's degree?

Degree's are counted from the day they were awarded. The period of study could be different.
I had a similar issue. For one of my 4 year-academic study degrees, the actual study period was almost 6 years.
I used the calendar year in WES form. It was fine by them!

Cool, thanks again. Last question (hopefully) - would the number of complete number of academic years be 7 or 4?

Edit - its a 4 year degree, but I needed to take 3 more to complete after the usual "period of study" to clear my backlogs.
