HI all...

I am confused. Some applicants have got their file transferred and waiting for medical pcc request. In my case they asked all medical, pcc, bcf before hand and till now i have not received file transfer email, but current application status changed to In process for PR application few days ago. They are shuffling the process for each applicant. it is weird .....

You are lucky!

It has been almost 2months since I have uploaded the schedule A and police certificate but not medical. Any idea

there is nothing to worry about it, Almost all of the Applicants have different requirements according to their cases. In Some cases they dont even need documents, while sometime they need it more then normal.
Therefore, if you file is transferred to VO, then there is a long pause to hear anything from them.

Thanks men and you are right

Thanks men, but what about AOR 2? I think they were suppose to send me that when they get my file and start processing.
Isn't that right?

Hi All,

I emailed cic about my current case status. Today they replied and told that they can give information to my representative only. That makes sense. Any how today a new line added to status as number 2. -

1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 27, 2017.

BELOW is number 2 NEWLY ADDED LINE -

2. We sent you correspondence on October 15, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

3. Medical results have been received.

Can any one suggest, is it going correct? I am hoping to hear something like AOR2 this week from LVO.

that looks like PCC Sched A request, is it not? if you already uploaded your sched A and PCC, then do not worry about it. Otherwise, check the date, October 15 and see in your GCKey what the request is for on that date.

Hi, Thanks for reply. Everything is submitted. But file seems stuck. I am not sure it is transferred to local VO or not...
Status changed to IP 5 days ago...
Thanks

Well, I have been asked to attend an in-person interview at my VO. Scheduled for December 6th. I am 100% sure it will be fine, but I am a bit disappointed as this is going to delay the process and I will not get to spend Christmas or New year's eve with my wife. Hopefully after the interview everything will go by quickly.

Drats. Do you know why they called it

I think it would be because we haven't spent much time in person, which is very easy to explain. We have been very unlucky with that. I was actually talking to my wife about it yesterday, how things would have been if we had done things differently. We could have spent a lot more time together, but her program at school and me trying to get the visitor visa because of how much her parents insisted on it kept us from spending more time together. Other than that, I honestly have no idea why they would need an interview.

What country?

What country?
Colombia. Initially, her parents were very reluctant to support her trip here, because of their preconceived ideas about Colombia. However they were okay with it after the two visitor visas refused and even flew from Canada to attend the wedding. I bet the problem is that out of about 14 months of relationship, we only spent two in person. Now we've passed the 18 month mark.

Yeah, I guess that makes enough sense. Sorry it's going to delay things for you, I'm sure it will go well as you said.

I wish we would have done things differently, but it is okay. Luckily for us, the VO is pretty fast. Now we'll have to prepare for the interview (they asked for more proof and two forms filled out again). We really don't have red flags, so I bet this is going to be more about them making sure they have no doubts our relationship is genuine.

long distance relationships are very common for filipino people. especially since most of us work abroad. the best way for us to prove genuine relationship is tons of letters and a list of all facebook/skype calls with timestamp. i talk to my wife minimum 3 times a day in a facetime video call. make no mistake, i log that s**t and make sure i have enough proof to show we actually talk and see each other even though we are far away. since plane ticket is very expensive, i can only go back to philippines once every 2 years.
