Hi @Bryanna , my friend who has previous B1/B2 visa as well as schengen visa wants to apply for TRV too.. however, since he dont have invitation letter, how can he apply? There is option for invitation letter when applying online.. can he skip it? would appreciate your reply.. I told him its better to apply online rather than paper application.. If you missed to upload, you cant proceed to submit your application.. so I wonder, what is to be done in invitation portion.

He'll need to apply as a Tourist without any invitation letter.
He will need to work out a detailed day-by-day itinerary to prove he has a genuine purpose of visit + he has the finances to pay for that itinerary and airfare.
He will also need to provide provisional hotel bookings (don't book any confirmed plane tickets or hotel stay)
He may have to go back to the questionnaire and say "no" to any question about having a contact in Canada.

Sorry to hear this about your father. You may have to create a separate MyCIC account for your nephews.
Truly sorry to know about your dad. Hope his health improves.
Your sibling (the parent of the nephews) must apply online on their behalf.
Some points you may want to note:
1. Your sibling must include consent letters/authorization letters from both parents of your nephews that allow you to take them abroad + 24/7 contact information of their parents + their parents' passport copies
2. You'll need to prove your relationship with your nephews. You can do this by submitting the birth certificates of yourself and your sibling (parent of your minor nephews)
3. You can include the medical reports of your dad to prove that his condition is critical + to request for an expedited decision instead of the estimated TRV processing times for your country of residence
4. You must prove that you have the finances to pay for the visit of yourself + your nephews. If this is not possible then the parents of the nephews must provide their bank statements + Income Tax Returns + Letters of Financial Support
5. If your entire family (your spouse and children) are traveling with you, you must ensure that you prove the strong ties of each individual family member (employment/business + student ties + property/land ownership, etc) because the family ties to Canada will strongly outweigh those to your home country = Higher chances of TRV refusals
6. Do keep the visit to max. 3-4 weeks
