Hi guys! My husband got PPR but his passport was recently extended by the government of our country. What I mean is that his passport expired but he got an sticker (stamp) from our government to extend the validity for 2 more years. Will this extended passport work to put the visa on it?

Which visa office? and I think he should be fine but I recommend you to make a new post about this to make sure this won't create any delay. It would suck for him to send his passport and for them to send it back requesting a new passport.

My VO is Singapore. I also applied in December 20th. Still waiting after that no response.

hello everyone..
Does anyone in this group have received Passport request or visa stamp ??
I have applied on 20th December with upfront medical and now they have asked me for 2nd medical and 2nd fees which i submitted in last week.

Do u guys have any idea that how long will it take for the DM now?? and after DM and PPR how much time will embassy take to send the passport back after visa stamp??

Applied Dec 23rd, still saying Medical has been received since April. Should I expect anything soon ? Do they interview everyone ? I am a Gatineau resident.

Finally received PPR October 31st 2017.

Sending passport off tomorrow, totally waiting since submission is 10 months!

I had paid all fees before sending the file, and Medical expires on Dec 10th only, so I don't have to redo it. On call the agent from NDVO said to leave before Dec 10th as the visa expires on that date...

You should send to your visa office or order notes sometimes notes move the file . I am oct 2016 still waiting too for background even after interview

So I just checked online on E-CAS and my update has been changed today to "Decision Made" , it was application received yesterday. So I was curious, I went ahead and checked it over the automated phone system they said we are processing your background check and that there is no need for an interview does that mean I am accepted and no interview is needed ? I applied Dec 23rd 2016.
