Hi All,

I spoke to a CIC agent yesterday and he said its being processed right now and cant give any exact date.

I dont know what to do as I have been stuck on IP2 for more than 3-4 weeks now.

Anyone in the similar situation and willing to share some experience?

Similar situation.. background status changed from "not started to "In Progress" on 21 Oct (passed my med in Aug)..been almost 5 months and still no major progress..

Hi everyone,

I have been following this blog for a couple of weeks as I too have not heard anything on my application. AOR on June 5th and my background check has been on 'we are processing' for ages (as long as I realised that it would change from not started to in progress). I had my RCMP and travel history requested on August 11th and nothing since. Everyday that goes by I am getting more and more stressed but trying to remain in good spirits.

Hopefully we will hear something very soon. Happy Halloween!

Hey guys, AOR 30 June I logged in today and my profile read Updated I guess I finally moved to IP2. My wordings has been IP2 since I passed medicals. Additional documents section read :" we do not need additional documents and has been like that since 10 days ago. So fingers crossed for everyone

Hey Tomi,

I ordered my GCMS notes after reading you could on here. That was about a week and a half ago so just waiting on those. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow, it must be any day now. My friend applied the day before me (with a dependent) and received her PPR a few weeks ago.

Hello,

You have to try to call them in the morning before 8am as this is the best time to reach an agent. Then, you have press in your details and let the IVR talk, after this it will give you the option of pressing 0 to speak to agent. Good luck and hope you get a nice agent to help you.

Have no updates whatsoever. Received my notes on October 11, didn't learn much from that. Med passed, criminality in progress, security and eligibility not started.
On my cic account we are processing your background since like two months ago. Literally don't know where am I at this point.
Requested a new set of notes today, with some hope that I will get my golden ready for visa email within the next 30 days before i actually get my notes lol
