forever alone here lola person needs just three things to be happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.

There is no standard format for reference letter. You can have your own template and furnish the details which is deemed mandatory. I hope you knew those. Below is the template which I picked from the thread, you can tailor it as you like.Hey guys,
Just a quick question: I am in the process of requesting the “reference letters” for my previous and current employers, but I’m curious about the appropriate format of it. I have read the instructions on the CIC website and have looked for a few templates online, but none of the examples I have found describes a situation where a person have worked on two different positions, within the same company.
I think, in general, what i would like to clarify is how was the format you guys have used on yours? When describing your main duties, did you asked your managers to use bullet point s or what? Do you know of any good examples for this document?
Thanks a lot!
Having prepared for both processes, I thought they were very similar in terms of what we provided.PR and study visas are separate processes and have no bearing on each other. PR would be rejected in case of misrepresentation, medicals failed, security issues, etc.
He said "at least" 300,000 people will be the immigration target for 2018, it means the minimum target of the "Range" for the year 2018 would be 300,000, it remains to be seen what would be the highest and the actual target. We can understand the "Range" if we look at 2017 plan.New Approximate Immigation Quota for the year 2018 released-

pls share your views, is it a bad news for the people sitting beloe 410 CRS? or it is adequate for flushing out all the ITA aspirants with comparatively at a little lower CRS score ?
First question. You wifes visa should still be valid given that her surname has changed due to marraige. However check with the airlines as they have different rules for different countries as to which name (previous or new) the ticket should be issued. Thanks for the reply mate.
I would like to tell the friends about my case. There are a couple of things to get noted and please advise if it is the right course of action that i am following:-
Me and my spouse have been to USA. (mine was J1 Visa and her's was J2) in 2015-2016. So while being in USA, we applied for the Canadian Tourist VISA and fortunately we are the holder of the Canadian Visitor Visa. Now the passport of my wife has been cancelled and new passport has been made due to the change of surname after marriage.
1. Is the Visitor Visa still valid that she got on the old passport?
2. Now, that we are interested to move to Canada, I created an express entry profile with the new passport details, and somehow due to some wrong inputs it showed me "Ineligible Profile". Please note that I created the profile through the same login ID. ans it has ossed me UCI numbers starting woth CANXXXXXXXXXXXX (CAN with 12 digits with no hyphen) for me and my spouse. I have a little daughter and I believe IRCC does not ask about the particulars of the children.
3. I again created the new profile with the correct particulars and this time I was in the pool. The only question that I am wondering if I have answered correctly is (also as per my previous post) - "Whether you have applied to CIC before?" I have answered it as "NO" and it asks me for UCI as well. So my question is Do I need to answer YES for the question and give the UCI numbers that were given in the ineligible profile creation or It should be NO as the answer and UCI numbers should be blank ?
4. Collectively we are sitting at 422, but individually I am sitting at 435. I hopefully expect the draw this week with CRS below 435 and hope to get an ITA. So I wanted that the particulars to be as correct as thet can be.
Please assist as I am new to the forum but follow it continuously.
He said "at least" 300,000 people will be the immigration target for 2018, it means the minimum target of the "Range" for the year 2018 would be 300,000, it remains to be seen what would be the highest and the actual target. We can understand the "Range" if we look at 2017 plan.
This was the target for 2017-
Total Admission Range for all immigration categories in 2017 Immigration Levels Plan: 280,000 - 320,000
Total Admission Target for all immigration categories in 2017 Immigration Levels Plan: 300,000.
We can see, for 2017 minimum was 280,000, now for 2018 it is absolutely sure that minimum going to be 300,000. It is obvious that actual target would be higher than 300,000 and he also clearly said the Economic Class will be the main driver here. It is 100% a good news for all economic migration applicants beacuse with the higher target, ITA size would be larger than this year and CRS will surely be under fire to go down. My bet is sub 400 at the end of the year. Hope my view is correct!
Most countries issue a PCC covering the entire country, however some only issue city wise. If your country is the later, it should be valid for all the cities you have lived in after the age of 18. (They should match up with you address history that you will mention in post ITA forms)Hello everyone..
Just need an advice about PCC, do i need to get from the city i m presently living or from my home down where i was born and studied.
At the same time my work experience is from a third city.
Kindly advice..
Perfect.First question. You wifes visa should still be valid given that her surname has changed due to marraige. However check with the airlines as they have different rules for different countries as to which name (previous or new) the ticket should be issued.
You should answer yes to the UCI question because you were issued a UCI number when you applied for the visit visa. Everyone who applies to IRCC irrespective of what type of visa / immigration is allocated a UCI number and it does not change for the rest if your life. It does not matter if you are reapplying for a different visa or immigration later, the number does not change. I would suggest you to look through the documents you received when you applied for your visit visa and you should find your UCI # on them.
The CANXXXxXX is not a UCI number. UCI numbers are numerical only. They come in only two formats which are
1234-5678
12-3456-7891
If you are a fresh applicant to CIC, You will not get a UCI when you submit a profile in EE. You are only alloted the number after you have received an ITA and filed and e-apr.
Hope this helps.
Best of luck
