Hi everyone,

I want to choose option 2 (3900 hours) in applying for my PResidence...as with my current employer, I can say that I exceeded the 3900 hours employment requirement already and i Have no problem in asking for the requirements from her..but i have difficulty in asking the employer's declaration form (imm 5634) from my previous employer although i got from her long time ago the ROE (i have 240 hours declared from that ROE)...im just wondering if the CIC will process my papers even if i lack some documents from my previous employer.. thanks

if you completed the 3900 hours from your current employer, there would be no problem even if you don't include the hours from your previous one. just send the ROE though. as long as you have 3900 hours that's fine.

it's still good though to submit the requirements stated in the checklist. I am also choosing option 2 and will submit this november. I had 3 employers including the one i am working with now. With my second emPloyer, he was very cooperative and was able to give me the documents that i need, but with the first i sent him last july and didn't even give me reply until i follow up and he said that he did not receive any.( i had it registered so i know he receive it.) I just said that i'll be sending him again this week end. Maybe until he just get tired of me me calling him... :D

Hi Bitoyzz,

Try to fill up and send a complete IMM 5634 to your previous employer (without the employer's signature and date). In this way, s/he will just review what you've entered and if there are no corrections, s/he will just sign and put on the date. Just a thought if your previous employer is too busy and don't have time to dig up his/her files. :)

Oh yeah, i just sent the declaration and i even include the guide in filling up the form. And made the timesheets and also the statement of earnings... He just have to sign... Some just don't care anymore... I have a question though, i hope this is not stupid enough, :D with the 22 months... Can i add the number of days... Like if u start may15 - aug 31 and like july 14 to march 31 can i add those half months to make it as a whole month? To add to those 22 months? As i am way behind... I was just thinking i those days i can add those... Thanks!

months dont matter anymore as long as you have completed the 3900 hours, you'll be fine. just submit all the requirements for option 2 most especially the declaration of hours, timesheets and payroll coz they're gonna base the computation on those and not the months.

hi plussy, i will try to do that...omg,i have to wait for 1-2weeks just to get this cert done (if ever it will be done).....
hi wishful-t, yes the minimum should be 22 months if we choose option 2...or else, if they didnt set a limit, i could have applied the 3900 hours in just six months with all the unpaid looonggg hours LOL...
hi ria, i think you can add up the 2wweks of this month and two weeks of another month to make it one month..thats why if you make a tabulation , you have to make a legend and explain that this and that equals to 1 month..right??? and thats why i am hesitant to choose option 1 because of that situation but really, if i will count like that, i reached 24months at this time and much more with option 2, since with my current employer alone, i alreasy have more than 3900 hours plus with the 240hours from my previous employer (but because of this imm5634 and statement of earnings,if i will not submit the one from her, they might return my application)...this process is making me stressed out...well, i better call cic with this... :)

Hi Fellow nannies. I am also planning to apply for my pr using option 2. Can I ask to those who have passed their papers already under option 2, what did you pass as your timesheets showing your hours and overtime per month. Coz I am little worried with that. I don't have timesheets.

Thanks.

if you have a paid overtime (which i think a declared overtime to cra by your employer), just make a table showing the date, time and OT hours per month and put the name of your employer at the end for him/her to sign...I dont have to make that document but i opt to choose option 2 coz i worked 44 hours per week (that is the max hours which is paid at a regular rate)...thats how i understand it. :)

Hi! I hate this stress that i am in. With 17-18 months of processing time and i haven't een completed my requirements yet for option 2 as my 1st employer doesn't even want to help me with my papers. I have sent him my documents twice and even follow up a lot of times on the phone but would just put the phone down on me. So, i was just thinking if i could have his son sign my timesheets and declaration of hours. It is actually the son that is a Multiple sclerosis pt that i have lived with as in the contract, but it is the nqme of the dad that is my emPloyer. I wish to sent my papers 1st week of novemeber as i dont want to wait till end of the year for my 24 months. Anyone?

hello, I just want to take chances in here. Also choosing option 2 but my question is "If you have 2 employers, Do you need to give each employer a copy of the Declaration of Hours to be fill-out?

I got both employers to sign a declaration and those will clear show the total 3900 hours when added togather to immigration.
