Hello everyone,
I just needed your help in our case 'strange' case. My husband is working on an ICT transfer in Montrea.I am on an open work permit here. We came here in august? We are thinking of applying for our PR ( express entry). I am the primary applicant our aggregate score is coming better that way. Also we dont want apply for quebec immigration ( another reason for me being primary applicant) as I dnt know french and there are no good management consulting jobs gere for english speakers.

So the issue is our proof of funds. We have currently around 8k $ in my husbands salary account( its our joint account). And currently we dont have money in our Indian accounts.

So kindly suggest what can be done in this case. Can we take gift deed from our father in law in his account.
What options do we have in this case. Should we wait for one year for CSQ application. Is it possible for us to apply via expeess entry.

Plz suggest. Your help is much appreciated

Yes, you can borrow money from family or friends and put it in your bank account.
CIC will very unlikely ask about the source of the fund. But keep the transaction receipts so that you can explain the source of the fund just in case if they ask for one. It is very (very very!) unlikely that CIC will inquire about the source of the fund.
Good luck!

Thankyou so much for your reply.

I have another query. We have been staying in canada for the past three months so the bank statement can only be for three months. The rest we will be showing is my husbands Indian account (which is gift deed).
Do we need to show money in joint account or is it fine if I show funds in my husbands account. I am the primary applicant.
