Tracking Number not received

Hi,

I sent my passport and other document after I got a message to send my passport post applying for Canada Visitor Visa online from USA (I am visiting USA). My USPS tracker tells that docs arrived at the VAC New York on 10/24. But I have not yet received the tracking number email.
Is it common for tracking number email to take more than 1 day to be sent?

This is a question for USPS. Said that tracking is known to not be 100% reliable, some never get activated at all.

Hi Raj,
I also sent the passport to NY VAC and they will be delivered today. Are you asking of the USPS return tracking or the email from VAC with their tracking number?
