Ottawa Oct 24, 2017 #2 I was on implied status till I received bridging open work permit and were able to continue to work using my expired SIN. I was on implied status till I received bridging open work permit and were able to continue to work using my expired SIN. S shutty Full Member Nov 24, 2016 40 19 Oct 24, 2017 #3 Thanks for the reply. Just to further confirm the above I called Service Canada - 1 800 206 7218 Option 3 They confirmed that you can continue to work and get paid on the expired number until a new visa or PR is issued
