Employment Check... How's it done

How does the Canadian government perform the Employment Check? Do they ask some 3rd party to perform this check or do this on their own? And they just look at the documents provided or ask the college and everyone too?

Usually they check out the company websites and perform random calls/visits for further inquires. From your signature, it reads that you received your PPR already, then why would you be worried/curious about the employment check?? Did you by any chance fake your work experience in the PR App??? Hey thanks for your revert! I am posting these questions for a friend as he wanted me to apply for his PR but the problem I am facing in his case is that he has work ex of 8 months in some company in 2014-15, however he has found another employer who is willing to provide him 1 year work ex in the same duration (2014-15). So I was thinking even if his documents from new employer are correct (let's assume), is there a way canadian govt might find out about the 8 months work ex(original one) that he did which he is going to overlap it with? this is my concern! If you have any thoughts on this... please help... this might save someone from getting banned on the other hand he is confident that nothing will happen

From the overall gist of things, I concur that your friend is planning to fake his work experience and get into the Express Entry pool correct???

If that is indeed the case, you can advice him not to move further on that lane. The CIC is not something to be played with, they will ban the person for 5 years (Reason: Misrepresentation). Moreover, its pure injustice being shown to so many legitimate candidates in the pool who are patiently waiting for their ITAs, PPRs to come in. Ask your friend to be truthful and wait till he legitimately reaches 1-Year of Continuous Work Experience which will render him eligible for the EE program. Good luck.

Note: You being a successful PR holder, much more was expected from you. Not stopping your friend from falling into illegitimate ways is not something a good friend would do.

People who "fake" things are frowned upon on this forum. Lots of people who are doing it the straightforward way are waiting because of people like your friend. So I doubt anyone would suggest he does that. Let him finish his 4 month and then apply like everyone else

Hey thanks for the revert again! Appreciate it... I myself am not in favour of that "FAKE" Work ex thing but it's not my case right so I can't stop anyone from applying or not, however I can guide him for sure and this thread will definitely help me in guiding him... I also think that he should complete 1 year and then apply in legit way.
One more thing... Do you have any idea till when would the immigration be open?

Hey the work ex was done in 2014-15 and for 8 months and then he left the job. So now it can't be resumed, he'll have to do 1 year continuous...
