6 days for me. On the 7th day I got the passport back asking for new set of photos.

Just check CIC, it is approved now. No email received from CIC.

Passport sent to printing room on Oct 4th
Application changed to approved on Oct 17th.
Not sure when the return envelop will be dispatched. Will CIC send an email when it is dispatched ?

No they won't send an email unfortunately. You can check the tracking number of the return envelope you provided.
Congrats. When did you receive your final email. I mean the donotreply email from cic.Golden words that you just said
My tracker got activated 10 minutes ago.
I am on the same boat with you. Approved last Friday and still no tracking information.
