I have applied from India ..I selected work permit india it is showing 11 weeks and its been like 14 weeks since I have applied

I spent about 4 years in Canada as a student and about to graduate, I'd love to settle here and contribute to the society. But CIC offers no help, they just leave you and your life projects hanging for months and months without giving you any news, not even basis assistance.
I don't know if they lack staff of funds, probably both. But this bureaucracy will undermine the trust of hard working immigrations towards Canada as a reliable place to settle.
That's too bad, really.

I just an update from CIC that they are currently processing paper based (work permit )applications for 22nd june and the current processing time is 118 days .

On Sept 6 I applied online for my study permit and just 1 week later, I received the approval(!). Since I am Italian I was expecting to receive IT from Rome, instead I got it from Alberta - Vegreville. At the same time I applied for my husband's open work permit.Now it's almost 6 weeks of waiting. I want to ask for an update because I checked the Italian processing time for a work permit is only 4 weeks, and they already passed but I don't know if I have to consider instead Vegreville processing time instead(it means 11 weeks!).
What do you think?

But you applied on paper based right. They are working on 22 june for paper based. I applied on july 10th and they are working on 16th july for online application but I didn't get any update on my application
