Hello,

I applied for my paper based PR through Ontario nomination. I'm currently on only my 5th month. I finished undergrad and Masters in Canada. My PGWP and study permit all expired. I'm on a visitor record right now and waiting for my PR to process. I'm wondering if I can wait in my home country (Bangladesh) until my PR processes and is confirmed. Has anyone done this or knows anyone with similar situation. Please advise.

PR, nomination is fast. Most of the time less than 1 month

actually, nominatio o my cae took 1 year! but now the systems are different, everything is online so it s not that complicated anymore: )and np outland are having a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge delay

pre-arrival services, you mean AOR? it's been 7 months now after AOR for me and yet no ppr. i think all paper based applications are on hold for now, cause i haven't seen anyone received ppr in more than 2 months now

Pre arrival services is different from AOR.I have read in other forums that if you received pre arrival services meaning your eligibilty is passed.i don't know how reliable it is.pre arrival services is like an orientation on how you settle in Canada when you arrived.what is your destination province?when did cic received your application?mine is March 2017.

My spouse DOB certificate is not available and I have attached a notarised affidavit with stamp. In which the signing authority stating that they have reviewed my passport and school certificates and basis these he confirmed DOB.

I my case I am the prime applicant and I have DOB for my son and myself.

Please suggest, do affidavit will work as DOB for my spouse

Usually when your VO provides you with Pre-arrival info it usually means your application is close to completion. Have you gotton your Passport request as yet?

It all depends on whether you are inland or outland applicant, and which visa office is processing your case. The timeframe varies based on these factors....as there is no set time.

What Visa office is your application? As you have rec'd pre-arrival info it is very likely that your case would be successful. But your VO appears to be taking its time...as it probably has alot of processing.

My application is in MANILA VISA OFFICE.I hope I to receive passport request on my birthday which is on 24.Because it is so stressful to wait.
