Please I need your thoughts on this. I just received my IELTS test result and it's heart breaking. 8.5 in all the skills and 6.5 in writing. What could have gone wrong? Is it advisable to appeal the result? A change from 6.5 to 7 will take my EE score to ,472 but with 6.5 I only have 421. . Does anyone have any experience with success rate of remarking? Please help a sister.

If you do believe that you have performed well in your writing section, then you can go ahead with the remark. Both success and failure stories are there when it comes to IELTS remark scenarios. It all boils down to how much you believe you had performed on the test. Good luck.
