I have the same issue they specifically said account for every month. So for me i will write unemployed when i wasnt actually working or schooling.Hi,
I don’t want to start a whole new thread for my questions so I’m just gonna ask here. I’m preparing my application for after Oct 11 and while looking at the current application, I had some questions:
1. Under the work/education section, I came to canada in mid-august 2013 as PR, and started university in september 2013. Now this section states not to skip any gaps during the relevant time period. So do I need to make an entry for the few weeks of august before starting my studies? If yes, what do you suggest I write?
2. Under the taxes section, I don’t think I need to mention 2017 since we don’t file 2017 taxes this year anyways, am I correct?
Question 6HIll send mine on the 11th.
Do I have to account carefully all activities?
What is the relevance though because I’m in country and does it matter if I forgot some and theres a gap in dates?

From @razerbladeQuestion 6H
Check the box in A and B to indicate if you have worked or studied in the past six (6) years before the date of your application or since you became a permanent resident, whichever is more recent ("the relevant period").
Complete the chart in section C. You must list all your work and education history including English/French language training for this period and must account for each month.
If you were not employed (i.e. you were unemployed, retired, homemaker, volunteering, etc.) you must indicate this under “Work/Education”, and indicate the time period. Do not exclude any period of time during this period. Do not leave this section blank. If you do, your application will be returned to you.

They don't ask for any evidence, so no need to provide any. Usually they ask for evidence if an RQ is issued ( hopefully not!)Hi do i need to include supporting evidence
Ok thanks. They don't ask for any evidence, so no need to provide any. Usually they ask for evidence if an RQ is issued ( hopefully not!)
Better to only submit what they asked for. They will contact you if they need any additional documents/ information.Hi do i need to include supporting evidence
On my PR application I filled in every single detail, even couple days .. no gaps were missing. I will do the same for my citizenship application. How about for example
October 15 is last date of work and resumed different employment on October 18.
how about if the gap is only 2 days, shall I indicate i was unemployed only for 2 days which was the weekend?
