Tried fillng out come to canada tool but it mistakenly showing other docs to extend visitor status rather than TRV.

TRV is not available for visitors in Canada.

You will have to apply abroad.

1.What are the chances of getting TRV approved in home country for my kid provided that parents hold valid work permit till may 2018?
2. Incase assume my kid's TRV approved in home country then how its possible to get visa stamped in passport within 30 days period?Bcoz my kid and his passport are with me in canada and its not possible to courier the passport to Home country.Is there a way to stamp in Canada after getting approval from home country?

Impossible to know the chances.

Unless there is a law against sending passports by courier, this is definitely not impossible.

You can also send an email to the VPC where you want to send it and ask if this is allowed. Some provide the service.

Hi balaprasad123, can I ask have you figures this out? coz I am in the situation now. My child is with me in Canada holding Visitor Record and I have no idea so far how to renew his TRV.
