Hi,

I just got my gcms notes. It shows eligibility review required.

Following is my scenario:
After submitting my application, I realised that there is another Noc code which is more consistent then what I claimed. So, I raised Cse that I would like to claim another noc.

Analyst said as follow:
RECOMMENDATION: PA HAS ACCUMULATED XX YEAR OF CANADIAN EXPERIENCE IN SKILLED NOC XX( This is 2 noc i sent). REVIEW SELECTED NOC XX FOR EMPLOYMENT.

EXPERIENCE: XXX JOB (NOC 1ST ONE), provides job description whic is consistent with lead statement & main duties as set out in declared noc category. NOTE: PLEASE REFER TO XXXX DOC FOR CLARIFICATION REGARDING SELECTED NOC AS PA IS INDICATIONG HE MADE ERROR IN NOC (1st one) WHILE HE WANTED NOC (2nd one), WHICH IS MORE CONSISTENT WITH JOB TITLE & DUTIES.

So,as far above I guess analyst is saying he reviewed my job on basis of noc 2nd in RECOMMENDATION.

Under EXPERIENCE, he tried to clarify that he did analyst review on basis of 2nd noc as i requested that through cse.

Please advise.

Not an insider but it seems like they are taking time to evaluate your new claim of the NOC. Eligibility is one of the most imp aspect CIC look while evaluating the application. Afterall, your NOC decides if you're eligible to get points for PR or not.
Since you are claiming new NOC, this totally change the eligibility review done earlier and this is why it is taking time as they are re-evaluating the application with new NOC.
If your documents and experience is as per your new NOC, you are fine. It will just take few months more to get the application re-evaluated.

Hi,
Thanks for looking into this. sorry, seems like i didn't explained very well.

Analyst did the review after receiving both noc's.
This is what he said:
Letter of employment is consistent with lead statement & duties decribed in first noc.
PLEASE NOTE: Please refer to xxx document for clarification regarding selected noc, as PA applicant said that he wants to claim second noc, WHICH IS MORE CONSISTENT WITH JOB TITLE & DUTIES AS PER LOE.

Doesn't this means that he is saying that my first noc matches with letter & second noc is more consistent with job. Eventually, meaning he did review of both noc's

It seems like Analyst was satisfied with First NOC however has recommended a review as you requested it through CSE.

Hi,
Thanks for looking into this.

If I am not wrong, isn't the analyst saying that second noc is more consistent with job title & duties?, meaning just telling visa officer that I did requested to change noc.

Analyst was satisfied with first NOC that the Reference/Job Letters were consistent with Lead Statement and Job Duties listed in it.

Then, you raised CSE and probably you have written LOE explaining why you want to change NOC. So, analyst believe the second NOC Job Title and duties listed in this LOE (not reference letters you provided earlier) are consistent with this NOC.

Now review is recommended and a senior analyst will take a look at it.

So, overall Both nocs are fine with ref letter.
But will eligibility review DELAY MY APPLICATION?

Please advise.

No need to worry. The program analyst does not make the final decision. Rather, the analyst when in doubt will leave it to the IRCC Agent to make a final call on the issue. So wait for the officer to make a decision. If your JD substantially match a NOC, there is no issue. This is a very common issue and officers understand it. Unless the NOC does not match much and other NOC matches substantially, you need not worry. Just give it some time and in a few days you will see the movement and most likely get eligibility passed.

Many applicants see a similar note.

Hi sir @legalfalcon ,

Thanks for advising. Actually , I later figured that may be analyst did review based on my second noc because of following:
RECOMMENDATION: PA HAS ACCUMULATED XX YEAR OF CANADIAN EXPERIENCE IN SKILLED NOC XX( This is 2 noc i sent). REVIEW SELECTED NOC XX FOR EMPLOYMENT.

EXPERIENCE: XXX JOB (NOC 1ST ONE), provides job description whic is consistent with lead statement & main duties as set out in declared noc category. THANKS again in advance sir :)!

Analyst reviewed both and now recommended Senior Analyst (IRCC officer) to review it.
Oh okay, but seems like both noc's are fine. With second noc being more consistent. No red flags, employment is verified. I am right on this sir?.

Also, it should not delay file right?, as it's just minor thing of noc being changed
