Ordering GCMS notes now would be a good idea. I have a feeling security probably took long. But good news is, it is done. Considering you are a march applicant, my guess is LVO will start eligibility soon on your file as lots of March applicants are seeing BGC's go in progress. Keep us posted. Thanks.

What do you think that my BGC has started? I cannot access the GCKEY because of having representative (lawyer). BGC process in Mississauga or in London?

Mine started a couple days before the file was transferred to LVO, mine took a while to get transferred as well. After looking at the gcms notes it did show that at least the security check with the partner USA was done. And so far no communication or visible changes since the file was transferred.

Immigration is a privilige as I uderstand, and not a right. We cannot get frustrated, annoyed, impatient or angry, if I may say this.

Besides, there is nothing anyone can do to expedite the process, so my formula is to keep cool and not fret about it.

how many day after providing additional documents for next step take lvo

It depends on your case. Most of the time, they reply within 45 days. Check the spreadsheet and you'll see most people got a reply within 45 days after their doc request.

I have a question about the nikkahnama copies. as you may know, there are 4 copies of it, marked original, duplicate, triplicate, and quadruplicate. Each has original signatures and original stamps/attestations.

my question is, when applying for spouse, do i need to send the one marked "original"? i have not received the one marked original from Pakistan. mine says duplicate, but it has all the original signatures taken at the ceremony.

looking for an answer from Pakistani's who have applied for spousal sponsorship with or without the one marked "original".

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I beleive that is how you look at things and that is totally fine by me. But not everyone is an "old fashion guy" like youself.

People have their own way of processing things. Some get frustrated, annoyed and impatient whereas some dont get affected and stay COOL. Its just life

Yes i did order notes in June and as per notes nothing has been started. Should i order notes one more time or directly call MP?

Hi there, is anybody here sponsored their partner (living outside Canada) in December 2016 by using old forms and checklist? I have some confusion regarding my application. So I sponsored my husband in December 2016 and used old forms because the new forms were not updated that time and on January 2017 they asked us to send some more forms which was not included in old kit but the new one. And since then there is no update in our online account. It's been showing that "we need more documents to process your application and we will send you a message" but there is no correspondence received by CIC since long. Has anyone been through the same situation? Any advice please?

Hi Samlia, I am also December 2016 applicant. Have you used the old kit or the new one? I used old and they asked for further forms that were not included in old kit and since then there is no updates in online account. I just know that my application is in LVO that's it! Seriously it's very frustrating do you have any similar experience or advice for me? What's GCMS notes?

I am in the same situation. Used old kit and applied in Dec 2016. LVO has my file since January. Asked for one new form back then. And then dead silence. Sent them an email and they replied that its still awaiting initial review. very frustrating indeed! My status however does not show "we need more documents...". Have u tried putting an Inquiry?
