Congrats..
What was your BGC status earlier and now?

Earlier it said : " Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."

Now : "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

looking at the discrepancy of dates and all, i think this BGC & DM is like a lottery, it all depends on which officer gets your file, their state of mind and their work ethics on how fast ur file is processed.
even the officers GCMS notes is taking forever, i applied on 10th sep and it still now here!!!

Does anyone has any idea about the fact that if someones medical expires, is she forced to come before the expiry or she can come even after the medical expires?

Based off various posts in this forum, it seems that you have to do your landing before your medical expires. If your medical expires before that then CIC can either extend it (i believe this is only if your medical expires towards the very end of your process like when you get your CoPR) or they will ask you to take another medical (which is more likely the case).

Whats your additional document status saying??? Is it "we do not need any additional doc" or "we need additional documents to continue processing".

Thanks for the response,
my wifes medical expires on 5th nov and NDVO hasn't even started with her BGC, so i am guessing its going to be the later case, which is not going to be easy since last time she had a bad experience.

lets hope she gets her PPR before that and her visa is valid for atleast end of dec.

Is there only one CIC panel physician in her town/city? Otherwise she could go to another physician considering her bad experience with the previous one. But if there's only one in her town/city, then yah unfortunately she won't really have a choice unless she's able to commute to another city with a CIC panel physician. :(
