FBI PCC question

Hey guys,

I have 2 questions:

1. For FBI PCC, can I take my own finger prints and send it to FBI with the form, passport copy and credit card authorization. I am planning to order the 258 cards from Amazon along with the inkless pads. Will that suffice? What kind of precautions should I take?

2. My wife has been in the US on H4 since February, does she need FBI PCC as well?

I think they need to be certified/notarized? So you can if you do it in front of an attorney etc

Yes and yes. You can take your own fingerprints. Just follow the instructions on the back of the FD form and watch a couple of YouTube videos on how to do it. BTW, you can send multiple forms in your package just in case one is rejected.
Your wife will need PCC too.

Thanks for your speedy response! One more question: My wife does not have a social security number, what should I input in the SSN field? It's a required field in the form! My wife is on H4 and is not eligible to get a SSN.
