strength2, could I send fax now to CSIS now, eventhough my BG is NOT APPLICABLE?

I am PNP O, AOR 19 feb. 2017 - BG in NA since 24 May. / both with my spouse work in ministry of interior.
if your myCIC does not still show background check in process I doubt you are in security screening.

But considering the fact that we work in government (ministry of interior) I believe that it could be a trigger for SS.
Moreover I have been in NA for more than 4 months.

Did you get a gcms note to see the progress of the file? Sending fax to CSIS doesn't hurt but they may tell you that you are not in CSIS.

I have received my gcms notes, but the eligibility and security were not started. They were generated od 27 July.
Should I order new set of notes, considering that my background is still NA, because when I ordered them last time it was NA too.

@legalfalcon have you seen any inland applicant getting rejected due to inadmissible for security reason?
I have only come across one case for rejection based on security, but that was very complicated and had international issues, and concerns. Not a usual case.

Thanks for your swift response @legalfalcon. So when one applies for PR Card renewal, they have to re-open the same original PR application?
No. If you are asking if the application is scrutinized again, it does not.

You mentioned within your article that CSIS continue surveilling PR applicants long after they have landed in Canada. What kind of surveillance tactics do they employ, do you mean internet? telephone, wire tapping, following around e.t.c?
Everything under the sun is a legitimate ground which is permissible by law.

Hello,
If someone is under security screening and living outside Canada (FSWO), Can they apply for a work visa? Given they can secure a job. What are the risks is the answer is yes.
thanks
Merely being under SS has no relevance. You can apply for any visa you are eligible for and just because you are under SS, does not mean that the visa will be rejected.

Guyz!! please help me out.

My Spouse got stamped Visa & COPR, yesterday only. We did it after a long wait of 1.5 year. Thanks to Almighty.

Now, I got trapped.

During EE profile creation, we mentioned that the spouse is non-accompanying; to increase CRS points. And everything got good, my spouse got ITA. We provided documents for medicals, PCC, passport details of both, marriage certificate with other relevant document & finally stamped VISA arrived.

We were only able to get this, after reading various knowledge forums in canadavisa.com.

Now, for non-accompanying, I cited & “documented” the reason to CIC that I am in a “Contractual Labor thing” with a bond amount equivalent to CAD 7500 and I cannot breach the contract (This is a fact). The contract is valid till July 2019.

In this case I just wanted to know that

1. After how much time, my spouse can start my sponsorship? I know that landing & getting a job of my spouse is important.

2. Can I now, at once pay the contract amount and breach the Contract labor thing? We have already provided documents to CIC that we have enough funds (POF).

3. I read somewhere that even my visitor/tourist visa will not grant?

4. For Visitor/Tourist Visa, my employer nod will be important?

5. Is it wise to drop this approved PR? And try & wait for lower CRS cutoff?

I am in a big dilemma. So Please help me, in getting these answers.
Please post in the appropriate thread. This is not the one.

How do we contact CSIS and CBSA from outside of Canada

Has anyone taken any out of the box measures like contact Immigration Minister and such

It may sound extreme and desperate

But when all your plans hinge on being in Canada, it gets really tough

Specially after living there for a decade so hard to adjust to life else where, actually not adjust but just don't want to be any where else but Canada
For CSIS the procedure is listed on the first page of the thread. For CBSA, you will need someone to apply for you who is in Canada with a legal status, or you can get it through a commercial third party.

Just because you work for the government does not mean that you will be under SS. The MyCIC status is not an accurate way of knowing which stage your application is at. Instead see if you have passed eligibility.

To read more on the different stages of an application see - https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

Please do not get swayed by incorrect advice. Until the eligibility is passed, the BGC does not start and you will not be under SS.

Yes
check myCIC. Does it show background check in process?
The MyCIC status is not an accurate indicator. If your page 2 of GCMS notes the information is retracted, and has s15/16 or 21/22 on the top right corner, then the BGC has started.

@SGtoCAD do not follow incorrect advise and stress yourself.

Not everyone goes under SS. Only a very few applicants have SS, and you may not be the one. Don't let others create panic just because their application was under SS, does not mean yours will be too. There are many factors which lead to an application being picked for SS.
