Same here buddy. IP1 since July 20th. AOR on July 4th. I am getting anxious to see it move.
I think we're being processed along with the backlog from the august AORs (i read that cic employees almost all take days off during this month
Thanks @hamgha..

But should they not start checking eligibility by looking at all the documents?

And then while processing medical, probably update my case stating they have put it on hold until birth of the child?
eligibility is the last step so no. I guess their logic is why waste time processing the file where there's a possibility the medicals won't be passed

WE can only hope and pray that they enjoy their days off and come back to work with refreshed minds and bodies to work on our applications asap. fingers crossed.

But in a standard and structured environment, there should be leave plans in place with relieving officers for business continuity. I don't feel officers should take their vacation at the same proximate time.

Thats true. But i don't expect my file to be handed over to another officer just because my primary assigned officer is on leave. Anyways who truly knows whats really going on in behind those four walls?? its all just speculations i guess..

Hi All,

I received ITA in last draw and am very confused on below point. Would be grateful if someone can provide suggestions.
During the last 10 years, I have personal history as below:
1) 2008 oct - 2012 jan 10 Org 1
2) 2012 Jan11 - 2012 Jan 27 ---------Unemployed [around 20 days]
3) 2012 Jan28 - 2017 May 6 Org 2
4) 2017 May 7 - 2017 May14 -----------Unemployed [7days]
5) 2017 May 15 - 2017 June 20 Org 3
6) 2017 June 21 - 2017 Jul 17 ------------Unemployed [around 20 days]
7) 2017 Jul 18 - Till date Org 4

I have declared just 1st two employments (org1 and org2) in work history as, these are the two i am claiming points for.

My question is about the short unemployment periods in between. Since in Personal history, cic is asking for information in MM YY format, do they really care for these unemployment periods which are just in days. Do i really need to create separate unemployment rows in personal history or, these will just add to confusion.

Regards
Varun

AOR on July 11th.
No updates till date.
Should I be worried?
Should I order GCMS notes?
Are you checking the right profile? Happened to me.
After AoR, you get one more profile added in your dashboard. Earlier profile was Express Entry profile, the new one is Permanent Residence profile. The profiles are haphazardly shown in the dashboard and are missed if not checked properly.
Do make sure you check the profiles before ordering GCMS.

Hi Guys,

I am submitting my application through a representative so unable to manage when the changes occurred and My timeline is as follows

AOR - 3rd July

Statuses by 7th August vs 31st august

ADR - The additional documents you provided are being reviewed
Updated by 31st August to - We do not need any additional documents

Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information
Updated by 31st August to - Not Applicable

By 18th September, I checked with my lawyer and he confirmed there are no changes yet to my last status from 31st August

My case is weird where I have completed my medicals from Canada and most of my documents as well as degree is also Canadian but I applied after coming back to India because my work permit expired. I even submitted a Canadian as well as Indian PCC in my application.

I am unable to figure out two things

1. Is my application going to be sent/processed in Ottawa or NDVO? Do both of those offices carry out the same functions? Which one should I email if I should email at all? What are their email addresses?
2. What stage is my application in? IP or NA and what does that indicate? And what is the next stage?
3. By what date/month should I expect a RPRF/PPR request or change in status? Does PPR only come one month after RPRF fees are paid?
4. Are there ways to check the status by yourself if you use a representative?
5. Will I be getting any emails or will my representative be getting it?
6. Is my processing time normal with these changes reflecting in my status?

If anyone can please help me with any/most of my questions since I am unaware of the terminologies and stages or normal processing times, I'd be really appreciative.

Thanks
