Processing time for PRTD on H&C

Hi,
I applied for a PRTD on H&C grounds(was removed as a minor). It has been a month but still the status hasn't changed from "being processed at the Canada Visa Office, CHANDIGARH".

Anyone got any idea how long it is supposed to/will take ?

I too applied for PRTD on H&C grounds at VFS Chandigarh on 23rd August 2017.
It's still showing under process. My kids are missing their school in Brampton.
Can anyone plz tell how much time does it take ?

PRTDs with H&C requirements can take months to process, there is no specific timeframe.

What is your H&C reason?? From your other post you don't actually meet the RO, so you should be more worried about the PRTD being rejected and process started to revoke your PR status.

I received my passport on September 16 2017..

My father passed away
I was busy in his treatment
And my father in law n my mom in law had undergone major heart surgeries n knee replacement

A breach of 4 days? Why not apply a week earlier and save yourself the trouble?

Some family circumstances....but I asked cic thrice before coming to India
They said there won't be any problem ....
But I'm worried

Unfortunately CIC call center agents' opinions are pretty much useless here. The decision is entirely up to the visa officer processing your PR TD app.

Unfortunately many folks working at CIC may confuse their opinion with statutory provisions. Given it's only 4 days I hope it works out for you, but in the future you would be wise to take what hotline folks say with a pinch of salt.

Dear Friends pls reply to above question , as same case is with my daughter who was PR when she was of 2 years , now she is 13 years & want to move Canada for studies . Should she apply for PRTD based on the fact that she was removed as minor & what are the chances that case will be through?
