As I filled in personal history - Activities- section I notice that the from and to dates asks only for month and year...though several places it says not to leave any day unexplained,this 'from and to' date with months & year,leave room for it..
E.g.
In eAPR (I've filed)
Personal history
March 2009 - July 2009 : unemployed
Work history
July 2009 - Feb 2013 @ ABC ltd

actual scenario,
21st March 2009 -19th July 2009 unemployed
20th July 2009- 2nd Feb 2013 @ ABC Ltd.
----
I hope datewise details aren't required ...please confirm with a yes or no if I need to explain the activity details date specified in an LoE ...

Hello all

Posting my experience with VO change after ppr - to help anyone who requires it

Write an email to the primary office from where u get the ppr mail
Also raise a CSE

Write the subject as urgent - application number and request to change VO - and send this mail to your primary office which will be mentioned in the ppr mail

It took me 7 business days for the change

Do send up a follow up mail if required

They do acknowledge and help - so don't worry
I was v worried but finally they did do it

Ho are your passports with CPC Ottawa?

Actually, When I updated CIC about change in my marital status, I received no reply till 45 days and I had received my individual PPR. So I, submitted a physical application through VFS along with my and my husband's passport. Since 6th of june our passports are with CPC Ottawa as confirmed by VFS and CIC agent. They have not returned it since three months so I was assuming that now we ll get our passports back along with the visas stamped on them???

Thanks @legalfalcon Should I try to get these certificates corrected asap by the university or the affidavit would be sufficient? This is my second ITA so your advice would be extremely helpful..

If you can get the corrected, nothing like it. But the affidavits will work just fine if the error is a minor one.

Datewise details are not required. However, you can have overlapping details and explain them in LoE if required. Eg. the dates you mention
21st March 2009 -19th July 2009 unemployed
20th July 2009- 2nd Feb 2013 @ ABC Ltd.

You can have two entries which over lap, one for employed and one for unemployed. If you are claiming points in work experience, it will be clear from your reference letters, but if you are not claiming points you can briefly explain this in LoE. Will save you time later to fill any additional documents.

Need some help from you regarding the application process. In EE profile, I have mentioned that my wife won't be accompanying me to Canada. I received ITA, however, now the situations have changed and she is ready to come along with me. Can I change these details now and send the documents accordingly? First of all, Am I entitled to change the souse accompany status after receiving ITA?

My GCMS notes generated on 25 August show the following status:

Program Assistant Review: Recommend - Pass
R10 - Okay
Criminality - Passed
Medicals Passed

'Security- Not started'

On a separate notes I saw something as the following: Admissibilities: Security. Created Date: 10.05.17.... Due Date: 9.06.17.... Updated By: WBM... Status: Not Started

My file is currently waiting at a visa office for a final review. I am 186 days from AoR.

Why does the security status show 'not started' at this stage?

Will this cause any delay?
