Applicants have been refused for lack of ties to Pakistan when they submitted just the bank statements or a business letter. These documents don't prove any reason to return.
Unless someone on this thread has received a written confirmation from the Abu Dhabi visa office that property/business trading/other financial documents are NO longer accepted for Pakistan applications..... it's best to apply online by submitting all proofs of strong ties instead of paper applications at VFS Pakistan.
Also, from the IRCC website, the Visa Office instructions (including for Pakistan applicants) are very clear..... to submit property ownership, business trading, assets, etc documents. No idea what VFS Pakistan is playing at

Hi Bryanna,
I had applied earlier in June this year for my TRV along with my spouse. The VAC at Islamabad refused to accept our property documents since they said that they were no longer accepted by the Abu Dhabi visa office.
"Insufficient documentation to support proof of income and assets" was stated as one of the reasons for visa refusal and
"provenance of funds" in other reasons. Do you think it may be due to the reason that we did not provide documents of our property?
We were refused our application on the basis of:
*
travel history although we have traveled to USA and UK several times (my spouse has not traveled in the last 10 years but I have visited my immediate family in the USA several times in the last ten years with last trip being in summer of 2016 and still hold a valid US visa). I have no idea whether the VO received the copies of our visas with entry/exit stamps.
*
current employment situation (we're both employed: My husband holds a government job with 24 years of service and I've been working for private sector since 9 years). Employment letters and NOC were provided.
*
Not provided sufficient documentation to support your/your host's income (bank statements were provided showing reasonable amount to fund our trip)
Other reasons included: "Provenance of funds". The VFS had refused to accept our property documents
It was very upsetting to get a visa refusal since we have never been denied a visa in the past and have been issued US and UK visas several times. This time
we have applied online and responded to all the concerns in an explanation letter. We have also attached our pay stubs, property documents, host's T4 & bank statements and property documents in Canada. I'm just hoping that they receive all the documents and review our case carefully since we are genuine visitors and have to return home to our two minor children we are leaving behind and report back to our permanent jobs after the two weeks' stay.
I really have my doubts whether the documents that we provide reach the VO otherwise such lame excuses for refusal should not be given when all the supporting evidence had been provided.
