We got CIC letter yesterday stating that IMM5669 and police check are needed for our inland common-law partner application.
I got two questions,
1. Since my partner is currently in Canada over 6 months, does he need to provide Canadian police check as well? I look on the forum and many ppl suggested Canadian police check is not needed, but I failed to locate the exact information on CIC website. Can anyone please give us some advice on this issue?
And if RCMP police check is needed, where could we get my partner's finger print taken in Toronto? According to this website, it seems toronto police doesn't deal with finger print for RCMP? Is this correct?

2. I am now a PR. Do I also need to submit IMM5669 and police check as a common-law partner of the applicant?
