Hi everyone,

My timeline:

Sent application: 27 July 2017
Received application: 29 July 2017
AOR1: 01 Sep 2017
Linked: 01 Sep 2017
Request for Sch. A: 01 Sep 2017

My application was originally sent in on 9 June 2017 but it was returned (missed one form) so I lost 7 weeks but stoked that it's finally under way.

I had the following question if anyone could assist:

- Is the Schedule A only for the Principal Applicant (me) to complete? Or does the Sponsor (Canadian Citizen) have to complete one as well? Note that I have applied as a sole applicant and there are no other family members included.

Thanks guys

did you send old forms or updated forms when you sent it for second time? my file got returned as well for the first time and i did not realised that there were changes in the forms and i sent the same forms (got signature from my wife again) again instead of the updated one.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to know one details:

For medical in Mumbai there are 2 places approved by IRCC
1) Lilavati Hospital
2) Clinical Diagnostic Centre,

Which one is better and also wanted to know if Clinical Diagnostic Centre, use eMedical system or paper system.

If anyone from Mumbai did medical here then please help me out.

I just wanted to go where they upload medical online so it would be fast process, because I read somewhere that Clinical Diagnostic Centre, they don't have online system.

Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

Dear seniors,
My father is a canadian citizen since 1974. I born in 1986 outside canada and my mother was not Canadizan citizen that time. She got citizenship status in 1990. I just want to know under which category I fall. I am going to sponsor my spouse and in form their is a quesiton where they asked which type of citizen you are?

1:- Citizenship by birth
2:- Citizenship by Descent
3:- Naturalized Canadian citizen

Application sent - 22 July 2017
Application received - 25 July 2017
still waiting for AOR. I'm the sponsor.

I re-looked at the the submitted documentation and realized that we missed to check the “Not Applicable” box for below in IMM5533E – document checklist, Page 8 – SIGNATURES
3) Additional Dependent/Declaration
6) Use of representative form (IMM 5476) – if applicable

I'm worried, if my application would be returned due to it as incomplete.
I called the IRCC and agent has informed me my application is not entered into the system yet.
Kindly let me know, if there is anything i could do, so as to avoid having my application returned back.

Signatures are very important to visa officer. Ive read some cases, unfortunately, they returned the app

Received a medical request

July 13 - Application sent
July 14 - Application received
Aug 24 - AOR
Aug 31 - Medical request

Hi, how did you know that about medical request? My portal is saying "action required" but there is no message. This makes me nuts. Also, there is no sched a and pcc?

I just linked the account and submitted Schedule A and letter explaining I can't upload a police certificate because of my country of residence (they send it directly to the embassy, I don't handle that). So my timeline is this:

July 26 - Application received
Sept 1 - AOR1
Sept 1 - Schedule A requested and submitted. Background check requested, explanation provided.

Good luck everyone!

How did you get the sched A and Background check?

You have to fill it out, then type your name on the form where the signature would go, that's how you would upload it and submit it to GCkey. If you fill it out, print it and then scan it, it won't be accepted. Do not do that.
Thank you so much
Such a great help
