I have to be there by 7th latest which my acceptance letter stated. But the college is not ready to allow me to come on 7th also. Such stupid people.

Bro you can do this ,before 7th anyways u get the visa, as soon as you get it you can mail the soft copy of the visa or atleast the approval letter to your college People and ask for extension. They will do it. Don't worry.
I applied on 31st July in vfs Delhi,my medical got updated yesterday but they still haven't started reviewing the application.
I have applied on 24th July Delhi , my medicals got updated on 25th august and still waiting for the review to start.
Ohh damn,I heard from my agency that the visa staff in embassy has been shuffled lately, that's why they are taking more time than usual,they have put us on an adventurous ride but I hope that whatever may be the delay,the decision should come positive for everyone,better late than never!

Most colleges are closed for upcoming Jan and May intakes. So did they defer you into next intake regardless of it being closed? Please reply. I am in a similar situation waiting to request for deferral. All my college programs are closed for upcoming January and May intakes.
