Hi Guys, I submitted my application on June 14th.On Aug 16th my medicals got updated.Can anyone advise how many more days it will take for PPR

Just got off the call with CIC with a total time including the wait and conversation of nearly 30 mins. A very friendly agent provided updates on the case that security and eligibility clearance have been complete and passed. He also said that "as of now there is no action required from my side" and all I must do is "wait for further instructions". However, he did not give any time-line and just emphasized on wait.

So does this indicate the golden email in near future?? have been waiting for over 80 days now. Patience running thin.

Also was informed that visa office is Ottawa.

Yes, PPR will be the next step. You should be able to get it very soon, hopefully this week. I waited 81 days since AOR. My visa office is in Ottawa as well. Good luck!

Congrats man. Yeah I guess its normal. Going to submit our passports tomorrow. How about you?

Yep, same here man, tomorrow it is, the day for submission of passports, want all formalities to get over asap !!

Hi All,
AOR June 15th CEC Inland here. My application is in process right now, Medical passed Aug 14, NA2 since Aug 15th.
I was working in Canada under post Graduate open work permit till July 28th. I have to resign as my Bridge work permit rejected.
Now I am planning to leave Canada in couple of weeks due to some family emergency.As I do not have a valid visa can not come back and have to wait for my PR there. Please advise how this effect my application ( form being inland to outland) ? Also if you can let me know if how should I advise CIC about the change?

I just went to a local photo shop. Checked their website to make sure they did passport photos and then brought the specific Canadian instructions with me. It cost around $26USD.

Hi there,

I would go home and wait for my application to be done. Someone would have to send and receive your passport. After that they would send it to you by mail so you could re enter Canada. The only problem here is your stuff that and your rent( if you are renting). But since you can't stay in Canada, you don't really have a choice. Hopefully we get an answer before the end of September.

Thank you! I just called Costco and they said they can do it per the specifications. It's only $4.99 there.

Biometrics: "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes."

Final decision: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."
