Finger print request from St. Clair office Toronto at Aug 24.

Today, I've done with the FPR, agency said, RCMP should receive FR in mins, now RCMP and CIC communication will start. Does anyone know, how much time it'll take for RCMP to send the result to CIC for the next step?

The third line is what 'In Process' is, so even though they acknowledged receipt of your application on the 19th, they started processing it on the 25th. ECAS is just the electronic application status which is what you see online like you posted.

Next step would be they sending you an invite for a test unless there is some other documentation they require. You would get a letter in your mail before which they would also update it online. So now you just need to be patient and wait. Good luck!

We sent you a notice on August 23, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on October 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment,

It depends on your location really. So far I have noticed the dates to be 2 weeks away to 2 months. Maybe look for other applicants from the same location as yours on the spreadsheet..that would give you an idea..

Wow sorry to hear that - well, at least they did not wait ages before requesting this and we know that they indeed work on your file. Have you also seen in ECaS smth like "we sent you correspondence to request additional documentation" or it was just a mail?

Que: Cic accepts the General IELTS only but I did Academic, which they will not accept it. I have completed my post graduation diploma 1 full yr in canada. Will they accept it as my language proof?

I have a question for kbanatwala and everybody who got finger print request. Please advise if finger print request is also reflected in ECAS e.g."we sent you correspondence to provide..." or it just comes by mail out of the blue?

@sogood @Katayoon It is infact good they requested for the fingerprint. Atleast I know for sure they were working on our case. They will for sure get back to it within a month to see if I have sent them the fingerprint as it gives 30 days to sent the fingerprint from the letter date.

Also nothing shows in my ECAS, It just says in process. nothing related to any correspondence sent to any family members. I have checked the ECAS for all.

I got request for fingerprint only in mail. ECAS just says inprocess. nothing about any correspondence sent to us
