You are not stuck in mississauga if you see a line that says " we started processing your application on XX-XX-XXXX" in ecas. This is from your local vo.
Which I don't.
I just have eligibility in progress on MyCIC.
Not in ecas.

you have received an email about transferring your file to VO?
In the SA email it said it would be forwarded after receipt of Schedule A, but other than that, I got no email saying it's actually been forwarded.

Possibly.
But MyCIC says eligibility in progress and I know I'm stuck in Mississauga.
Mine also said the same. if we're lucky, maybe they actually worked on the file instead of leaving it in a dusty corner next to a coffee machine. If they did work on eligibility, that means the VO officer will have less work to do and the file will get processed quicker once there.

I hope. I received my notes though and it doesn't look like anything has been started. But maybe?? Hope so.

yea but on ECAS PA side says IN PROCESS and they have started processing?

So I just received an email. I guess I'm not so much "stuck" in Mississauga, as my wifes application is being processed there.
The pdf said: "This message is being sent to confirm that the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be processed at CPC Mississauga."

I guess they aren't going to send it to Ottawa or anything, and just process it there?

I've just got the same thing - looks like we're there to stay! Nothing else has changed on my online accounts, but glad to have heard something, at this point.

Thats definitely good news! Was this email sent to you as a reply to your enquiry email you sent before or that was just a step from their side to inform you whats happening next?

I just got the same thing! It does feel good to hear at least something. I wonder what that means for us in terms of timelines though.

We have received the same e-mail about 30 min ago.

Our last step was schedule A and Police Certificates which we've uploaded July 10th.

We are outland, common-law and thought we had to go through the Paris office. Could it mean that you don't need to go through a local office? Like as is your application looks very legit so there's no need for further evidence or information?

thanks
