Hi,
I am currently working full-time on PGWP for a bank in financial sales (NOC B) for the last 8 months and I will have one year Canadian Experience in Jan 2018. I have couple of job offers in finance for different roles in NOC O and A but different NOC codes than the current. If I continue with the same job then I will be eligible in Jan 2018 under CEC but the new job offers much higher salary and better career prospects.
As per the cic website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/express-entry.asp) one can earn the required Canadian experience with one or more occupations with one or more employers. Therefore my understanding is that even if I change job then also I will be able to earn points for one year Canadian Experience in Jan 2018. Please advise if my understanding is correct and I will be able to qualify under Canadian Experience next Jan even if I change NOC Code but still in NOC O or A.
I would really appreciate if someone can share their similar personal experiences and help me in making right decision without having a regret later of wasting my eight months of experience because at this point in time getting a PR is higher in priority for me than more money.
Thanks
