Ur writing got me excited back to my entrepreneurial aspirations...(few minutes back I was thinking about a 'start up' post landing with some amazing friends I met up here...and was thinking about preparing a viable project plan to present on sidelines of the grand Yukon night to get the attention of all party goers...and I was thinking on the lines of 300k landed immigrants per year over next 5 years presenting an opportunity in food processing / retail / imports and just then you just put the export potential onto my radar... ....
Thank you for keeping upto the name of the thread and instilling some confidence into all 'aspiring to be successful Canadians'
wisdom,knowledge,world view etc has little correlation to age / place where you live...it's more to do with the kind of perspective and attitude one carries...

Wowww such an appraisal from the future successful entrepreneur am deeply humbled . We should have a mix of people to keep the track running, some like to post short, some like to do long post. Personally, I have much patience to read pages of article unless it lacks content. Your post though long, has important contents, inspirations or suggestions which am deeply allured. Hence you can be assured, I wasn't one among them who throws sticks at you . atleast until now

This is my 2 cents for you.

The whole purpose of immigration is because of the low population density, low birth rate, high ratio of elder to younger class.
Canada with the vast area is ironically the least populated area in the world. Just to give you a mental picture , India (my country) has 358 person per sqkm while USA has 33.7 person and you know about canada's density? It's 3.9 per sqkm. And do you know the how much they import, 416.6 billion dollars. Just imagine country with roughly 3.9 person per sqkm is importing more than the India with 333 person per sqkm. Yes , surprised? India's import is 359 billion dollars.

Now you may wonder, why am pointing out this stats? I may sound deluded but worry not . Canada has copious amount of untapped resources such as oils and minerals on their northern side and their eastern and southern border are endowed with potential farm lands (canada is the 5th largest agricultural exporter in the world) . Hope you get a big picture now. It has vast number of resources yet meager workforce to exploit them (till date). It needs farmers, miners, hard labors , programmers , support persons, journalists, receptionist , builders, bakers and the list goes on. What's better option than encouraging their citizens to work well at night ? but wait, haven't I said, canada has less birth rate. Oh yeah, then it all downs to immigration isn't ? Canada needs workforce, especially skilled workforce, this immigration trend has to continue to sustain their population and economical balance.

• Express entry is one way, but lot number of people are emigrating back to their origin as they have less patience in nailing a decent job in Canada.As of 2016, nearly 64,305 people are emigrated from canada from which 13,450 are from Ontario.
• Not all refugees are accepted, nearly 39 refugees/ illegal immigrants/asylum seekers are deported from Canada daily.
• With respect to H1B, the bill has passed but to make it into a law, it needs to consider the following, a support from opposition party (46% votes for trump , what about opinion from the reminder?) , effect on foreign relations, corporate pressure, How can local companies can fed their skill needs?. So I don't think the bill will be lawed for another 1-2 years.

Hope I provided rational explanation. People out here in this forum are needed to be optimistic not only through out their visa process but also after they get to land in Canada and "Ray of hope" is an avenue for us. Am pretty sure, people here are much matured , doing their process without help of consultants and they are not deluded (they just claim to be) and they very well predict what the future holds for them. so we don't need cold showers as CIC is already showering us on monthly basis, ROH is our lukewarm.

Every dynasty has a beginning and an ending. Indian empire had one, so does China, Mongolia , Greek ,Turkey, Roman, Spain, France, Britain and now America. I believe canada is a future and much members out here inclined to my intuition.

I have probably a shocking news for you. I have asked Ontario immigration about the reopening of OINP HCP stream and the reply from them have gave me a cold shoulder.

It states:

"Dear Saidkhan Pathan,


Thank you for your email correspondence to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) mailbox.


The Human Capital Priorities Stream has reached its current registration limit and no additional registrations for this stream can be accepted at this time. The program will also place a hold on sending any additional Notifications of Interest for the Human Capital Priorities stream.

that's a pretty good suggestion too...a budget theme bar & short eat /take away chain for a target of multi national clientele (immigrants ) and guess what we have vastly experienced guys and gals to handle everything from handling finances ,pulling crowd ,charting out bouts on weekends and many more.... ...and surely with the kind of mix we carry ,no budget chains can match up the authentic home styled menu that we can offer
East European ,American ,French , Indian ,Philippine ,Singaporean, Nepalese,African ,Spanish ....Indian...we have our own inhouse it expert and his mrs.handling the whole of the project execution and arranging capital & managing finances alongwith the strong PR cum finance cum security head who is synonymous with lunacy & evil ...we could produce our own & to supply others the inputs with our farm manager ....
& some expert wine &spirit connoisseurs....
it could be a hit.......we could take it to the market and list and be millionaires in ten years....

429 is good,& so is getting a better ielts... ....ur draw will be below that,still you could qualify with a higher score as well right !
