Hello all,

Hope all are keeping well and healthy.

I require a very urgent assistance on a query with regards to credentials evaluation.

Can we claim crs points for masters alone?? My husband cannot get his transcripts done for engineering. Is there anyone in this forum has done transcripts from RAI uni, Bhopal?? It would be real help if we know the procedure. The problem with his engineering was that he lost affliation from rai University and then got the rest certificates done from rajeev ghandhi University. So in short his engineering has half rai and half rajeev ghandhi certificates.

Is it possible to just claim crs points for masters alone.has anyone done that way??? How Wes normally evaluate such cases??

Have a great day

Thanks

Have you discussed this with WES or other ECA service providers?
Perhaps they can guide you better in this.

if your highest qualification is mater's only..then i think you may get it evaluated only and claim points as per master's degree.

I second this. You need to contact WES or whomever you're going to use for your ECA.

My husband did sent a query to Wes advisor, they said it is possible but we are not sure if I can claim his points in my CRS score since we have not evaluated his eca. Anyone has such experience... if only masters any idea what will be the degree equivalency??

Yes now we have decided to get transcripts done for his masters alone, since graduation is not possible.. Infact its a tough call.. So will you mean I will get equivalency for masters alone from Wes and those I can use for my CRS calculations?? Probably it might be 2 or more certificates.. Not sure..any idea if anyone have done

If WES says it is possible to award the Masters then I don't think you have anything to worry. It is masters that matters and not bachelors. If WES can give you ECA for Canada equivalent for the masters you are claiming then I don't see any reason CIC should have any objection.
The reason of authorizing third parties to perform ECA is to make the procedure less cumbersome for the CIC officials and leave the scrutiny to the third parties. If WES is fine, CIC will be fine too.

If your husband degree is fine in the eye of WES then it will be for the CIC as well and by that you can claim the points in your CRS as well.

If your Husband did his Masters after Btech then transcript of Btech is not Mandatory . But if he did his masters after Three year Bachelor's degree then Bachelor's transcript must .

Special Requirements:

Click here if you are submitting a Master’s Degree or PGDip (12+3+2) for evaluation

For all applicants submitting a Master’s Degree or PGDip earned on top of a three year Bachelor’s Degree (12+3+2) for evaluation, WES requires that you provide your Bachelor’s degree documents, otherwise WES cannot complete the evaluation.

Much relief.. We are going with masters evaluation alone and lets wait and see what equivalency they are giving for the same so i can add points for the relevant equivalency. Atleast masters can be evaluated.

Yes he has done full time Btech.. 4 years. However we are not able to get the transcripts done. So you mean we dont need if it is Btech, how can we let them know then we have done Btech. When registering in WES account we will be producing application for our masters evaluation only isnt it.

You don't need the transcripts for your bachelors if you are only having the Masters degree evaluated.

to the best of my knowledge, highest awarded degree transcript matters. I had this doubt too while sending my B.Tech transcript..as i did not readily have my high school mark sheets. However i got my WES ECA done within 10 days ! for bachelor's equivalency of 4 years.
I suggest you just send the master's transcripts carefully..match the name and wait for evaluation.

Shruthy , you submit your husband's masters transcript to WES .
and at the same time apply for Btech transcript from current university .
