I got medical request Applied online on June 21st.

I need your help.I am from india.My wife has gone to Canada last month. When she reached there she got to know that she was pregnant. She is on study permit.She is full time student. Her study level Post graduate & Co-op Work Permit (Open Location) Her study will start from September 2017. She is 2 months pregnant now.
She is now in problem. As she is alone there. I want to go there as soon as possible as she needs me emotionally and financially. Tell me what is the best way to go there. I got to know about work permit. Is it the better option to go there. And if it is good option, what would be better applying online or applying paper work through?
What's documents need to us?
Tell me as i am in problem now. I need help.

For work permit embassy take time of 11weeks. Do i will get a update within this period of time?

If u submitted the perfect document and cic satisfied means u ll get it
Now a days paper also getting sooner..
So online or paper doesn't matter for now
