TRV or ETA for Indians ?

Sounds absurd but could someone tell that do we need TRV or ETA for entering Canada on study permit ?

I am really confused. Some say you don't need anything except student permit but some say you need it.

An ETA is only applicable for visa exempt passport holders everyone else needs a TRV. Without a TRV you could not even board a plane let alone enter Canada, the study permit alone is not enough.

If a study permit has been approved then a TRV should be approved at the same time.
