Hello

I called CIC on Thursday.As I am in NA2 for almost 40 days. They told me my file is still in Central Intake Office and my security and Eligibility check is not done yet. Can someone tell me what are checked for Security and Eligibility checks? I just want to understand the process.

Highly doubt it. PPR is the formality right before "approved".

Dear Friends, Can you help me with below query:

AOR -- 15th May 17
NA2 -- 28th June 17

File is at Sydney, Nova Scotia

My details in additional documents changed from "UPLOADED" to "DO NOT NEED ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS" last week.

Does it mean that file has been transferred to LVO, also has eligibility been checked already or not yet.

From the additional documents status, yes, it's been moved moved to a local VO. Eligibility would also be checked again by an officer at the local VO.

Well my document required status changed after the mail to: no additional documents required.

From the update, your file has most likely moved to a local VO. I think you should email them again to know which.

Med Passes - 23 June 2017
I don't know about IP1 or IP2 as I didn't check regularly but on 17 July 2017 I saw background check status from NA to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
Also currently its showing

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
• The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.

From your experience and learned opinion what BG it is IP1 or IP2? Getting worried

I am eagerly waiting for that golden email of approval and continuously praying.

PS - My work experience includes self employment (director of an Indian private limited company), submitted all the company documents alongwith.

IP2. Hopefully you'll get it during the rain this week.

This is what my present status shows. Could anyone suggest how long will it take to get my RPRF and PPR?
I have submitted my application on 18 May 2017 and my status changed on 28 June 2017.

Application status : We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Not applicable.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

No idea. It all depends on the visa office handling your application. You should email CPC Ottawa to find out which.

I thought NDVO was quicker huh, What is the average time NDVO takes these days after files are sent there?
How long since yours was sent my friend?

That's the thing ....no one knows when was the last time they saw any activity at NDVO .

Nothing at all ....London is issuing PPR for feb people ...and NDVO people are crying for any update in the same thread

U can email CPC Ottawa ...they can will tell where is ur file .....as I see u got IP2 fast ...so I think ur file is at Ottawa ....

NDVO people from march and April are still at NA stage .

And I would highly recommend you to call cic ....there were some cases from April AOR where cic sent PPR but the the applicants never received them

I signed up for the VFS email and SMS/ mobile phone alert and I was updated on every step until when I could go pick it up from them. You can also call the local VFS office for updates.
