Getting Married/Change in Status/Need Help

I received an ITA on the July 12th 2017 draw. I am in the process of submitting my document and am waiting for USA PCC (the current processing time for this is 12 weeks). I will be able to submit my application around the 1st week of October 2017 because that is when all my documents will be available for me to submit. I am getting married on 24th December 2017.

1. If I am correct, I will be in the EAPR phase of my application. I read that I should declare my marriage as soon as possible after I get married. What will be the effect of this on my score and application?

2. Will my spouse need to have IELTS score? (She has given her IELTS, but the scores will expire on the 5th December 2017.)

3. What documentation is required from my point of view and from my spouse point of view?

I read that we will need

a. Marriage certificate (can include more marriage proofs such as photographs, invitation card, etc.)

b. Spouse’s PCC

c. Spouse’s Medical Exam

d. Proof of funds (as of today a minimum of 15312 CAD)

Are there any other documents that we might need?

Has anybody been through this before? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you.

You basically answered your question perfectly. Add to that the fees for your spouse and thats it. Ielts is not needed for her

Thank you so much for your input.
A Followup question is: When her PR gets approved, does she have the benefits as me? Can she work just like I can?

Also, so there will be no effect on my score or my profile won't go back in the pool for the invitation, right?

There is no difference between any two canadian PRs. You are all the same. She can work or study or just chill just like you. Scores are not affected if you get married after submission of documents.
