WORK EXPERIENCE ACCEPTANCE ISSUE

Dear @legalfalcon ,
Just a quick question. In order to provide experience in my field that is (NOC1111) , am i required to show this experience ONLY post qualification or it can be Pre qualification as well ??
Should it be on the basis of post completion of degree for which i received ECA OR my experience can be considered on the basis of relevant diploma related to my field but please note that diploma was not equal to any Canadian diploma.

So What would be the scenario??
Please guide me with your great experiences .

As per IRCC for meeting FSW NOC the following is stated (specifically see the last note in bold) <http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/fsw/minimum.asp>

The applicant must have accumulated at least one year of continuous full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) paid work experience in the occupation identified in their application for permanent residence as their primary occupation. In calculating this period of work experience, the occupation must be listed in skill type 0 (Managerial occupations), skill level A (Professional occupations) or skill level B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2011 [R75(2)(a)].

The applicant’s skilled work experience must also

have occurred within the ten years preceding the date of their application for permanent residence; and
not be in an occupation that has been designated as a restricted occupation.
Note: At the time of publication, no occupations were designated as restricted.

In addition, during that period of employment, the applicant must have

performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(b)]; and
performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all of the essential duties, of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(c)].

Note: The applicant does not need to demonstrate that they meet the “employment requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description.

What is important here is that you need to show that the job duties of the NOC you selected, meets those in your work reference letter. You need not meet the employment requirements, so it can even start before the graduation. However, if your are in Canada, you cannot claim to start working while you were a student. If this was outside Canada, there is no issue.

Please spend some time to explain your point. I worked as an accountant from May 2016 to June 2017. And completed my qualification in July 2017 for which WES gave me bachelor equivalence .. So question is that Will CIC accept my experience before completion of my WES evaluated degree? or is it necessary to show experience only after any ECA degree/diploma ?

For example, you did a diploma of Accounting and started working as a Accounting bookkeeper. In order to do this bookkeeper job, you will atlist need a diploma or few calls them college certificate. Moreover, under NOC 1111, say for example, Accountant, all you need a bachelor degree in Accounting. You have to specialize in Accounting. So, depending which occupation you are in, your qualification pre or post will vary for consideration for experience.

Country to country education varies. Thats why they asks us to get the ECA in order to check the equivalency. As for you, 3years diploma is not equal to a canadian bachelor. In this case, as far as i am concern, you won't be able to use NOC 1111.

Is doing a work placement part of the last year of your degree? Your last year of study is the same time as your 1 year of work.

Sir let me explain you a bit.. work exprence was not necessary to complete my degree. and yes my last year of study is the same time as my work experience.
now let me explain I completed my diploma in april 2016 then started working as an accountant in Pakistan on basis of this diploma and also kept . Then i completed my degree(that is equal to 3 year bach of canada) in June 2017. got my wes 5 days ago.. So this is the scenario...

Still don't understand how you studied for your degree and worked at the same time. Did you do 2 degrees you mention degree and diploma.

Oh yes now i got your point. yes my degree required 3 year of work experience in order to fully qualify for degree. so yes it is necessary. but it does not necessary means that we need to complete work exp during study but it is up to us we can do anytime we want. My degree is Association of chartered certified account
