Very well said, so Tim Hortons is it. You will get an NOI soon when they re-open it, hope you will get a Notification sooner than you expect, I believe so. For the record: get ready your documents in case re-opening you recreate you EE profile to get an NOI and upload your documents in order to be among those people who apply first.
As you've said, I feel sorry too for those people who find a negative in everything.
Our Timmy's is on me.

We intend to move to Waterloo Ontario with BC our second province choice and Alberta third. Waterloo isn't that far from Toronto, so next year you can expect a coffee on me my friend.

Congrats :) Note that you do not need to receive the IELTS score report or ECA in the mail to update your EE profile. You just need to grab the TrfNumber at the bottom of the page showing the IELTS score online, and the ECA# from the PDF that WES posts online. So you can update your EE profile and get the extra points right now instead of having to wait for the snail mail.

And yes, you are right to prepare your documents for OINP now instead of waiting for a NOI. Almost everything that you need to get for OINP you will need post ITA anyway (only your birth certificate and letter of intent to reside in Ontario are required for OINP but not for the federal system post ITA). So once the OINP system opens again, you will be able to submit the moment you receive NOI, unlike me. I received my NOI on July 11, frantically and diligently started gathering my documents right away, but was not ready to submit until July 25, a day too late, and I am kicking myself every day for that!
Thanks @trumprefugee. That's really useful. I didn't know that. I'll look into that and see if I can short circuit those 8 days. As you so painfully prove, everyday matters. Thanks.

If they actually land in Canada, the pessimistic people probably leave when things get tough, or just complain about how Canada sucks. I met someone like that who immigrated to the US after being lucky enough to win the diversity lottery. Oh boy, she had so many bad things to say about the US and was not a patient person at all. She was always looking on the bad side of things and was just a mean and rude person overall, always finding fault in people and talking about how bad the US is. She also kept talking about leaving but for some reason hadn't left, as of a couple years ago. I had to distance myself from her because the bad things she said about me were getting to be too much, and I am glad to have fallen out of touch with her since then.
I remember one of our coaches at work saying that you are the average of your five closest friends, so be careful who you associate with. So true. I think you have made the correct decision here. ;)

Friends i have a doubt. Am working as a lecturer in Pharmaceutical college affiliated to Osmania University. While creating my EE profile the NOC code mentioned was 4011. I recently got my ITA and while submitting the documents i found the NOC code is 4021. Though both 4011 and 4021 have similar roles and responsibilities as 4011 is University Professors and lecturers and 4021 is College and other vocational Lecturers. Both the NOC codes skill category is A.
Can i change my NOC to 4021 now and explain it in LOE and does it create an negative impact in rejecting our visa. Need help !!!
Well, before you make any changes please go through "Main duties" section of both NOCs. You will notice that first most addresses to whom you taught. So if your experience letter states that you were involved in teaching XYZ courses to undergrads and graduate students, then you are definitely 4011. In addition to this, again if your experience letter bears university's name then I do not see any problem.

Just for the full disclosure, I myself have not made EE profile yet, but what I suggested you is what I would do. My NOC will be 4011.

Cheers

Thank you for the reply my friend, as you mentioned 4011 duties are matching my duties but the reference letter i got from my college letter head will have my college name on it like xyz college of pharmaceuticals, Affiliated to Osmania University. Also duties of noc code 4021 are also matching and the letter head is also not fem university so i thought 4021 is the right match.
By the way are u working directly working in an university.

Let me know if you have trouble finding those numbers, and I can send screenshots of mine showing the exact location. But just search for TrfNumber and ECA# and you should be all set.

Haha thanks for the encouragement. I don't have my own list, but APPENDIX 5: HUMAN CAPITAL PRIORITIES STREAM DOCUMENT CHECKLIST in the instructions has a good checklist that I checked repeatedly (starts on page 47 of the PDF):
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/prodconsum/groups/csc/@oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps_010517.pdf
Thanks so much for this! I think I am going to start gathering my documents too.

I had asked a question before to you, and maybe you missed it, or perhaps I missed your answer.:) Anyway, here it is again. So I received an NOI from Ontario on 11 July 2017. I registered on 13 July 2017. I started filling it up but didn't finish. Then they stopped accepting applications, and I suppose my registration has expired by now. I have read from your posts that if Ontario reopens within 6 months of the receipt of the NOI, I should be able to register once again. But then you mentioned you didn't register because you didn't want the 14 days to lapse before you got all your documents. Is there any harm in letting it lapse?

Yes, use 2173. It's your roles and responsibilities that matter, not your actual job title.
