You can get the self declration letter from any of your senior indicating the duties and he/she knows you and worked together, lat

Hi Anudeep,

For the letters, my employer sent me the first one with missing information. A second time, still missing. I had to ask for it 3 times and tell them it is a government/official process (although they have no obligation to sign).

*edit: have you provided them with a drafted letter, just requiring their signature?

Well, if you ask them to start the letter from scratch, it will take more time. This is a favor an employer does to you, not an obligation. It is also not an obligation for the company to make sure all details are in the letter etc.. the applicant should worry about that though.

edit: I don't think the fact the employer is Canadian has a lot to do with the format letter.
